I really prefer wood ones that are sturdy and I cannot find adult sized ones in pink.

Wooden ones are probably going to be impossible to find in non standard wood colors. Have you considered buying velvet ones? They have a lot of grip and wouldn't fuck up your dresses like painting wooden ones yourself probably would.
