I’m rather attractive, but tall (5’9) with D cups. Can I still into lolita? Or is it just a dream for giantesses like me?

>> No.10588309

You're fine. I'm 5'9" with D cups and it works if you put in the work. It is trial and error till you start to spot the cuts that look less weird on you.
Innocent World long cuts are a good start, but I have found things that are supposed to sit on your natural waist tend to look weird because my waist is like 3-5 inches lower than where they have it.

You might think that Taobao that fits your measurements would work better, but in my case that was wrong. They are built to fit larger short people, so it ends up really odd looking on me.

But really, just buy what you like and try it on. Luckily things are easy to resell in lolita if it doesn't quite work out.

Any other sage advice from tall lolitas?

>> No.10588312

D-cup is a meaningless measurement without band size.

It depends what your taste is, but at 5'9 you can make it work. You will have trouble fitting into some stuff, though.

To be fair, most women I know have no idea how bra sizes work.

It’s hilarious to me that tallfags(aka men pretending to be women) use sailor Jupiter as an example of a tall woman but it’s canon that she’s only 5’6”

She’s treated like a giant in the series because everyone else is so tiny. To be fair, they’re supposed to be in junior high, right?

Anyway, I’m the same height as her (5’6”) and most lolita brands fit pretty well (though I haven’t tried AP). I have a pretty long torso though, so really tailored Mary Magdalene is usually too short in the bodice. Adjustable straps are your friend. They’re also easy to have tailored longer if they end up still being too short on you.

Yeah a 5'6" middle schooler is a bit tall in comparison to other kids considering it is already above average for adult women. I am 5'1" and didn't break five feet until sometime in high school.

As a (former) 5'6 middle schooler (I think I reached my full height of 5'8 by eighth grade) it is hell. The giantess moniker is earned.

As for >>10588222, assuming this isn't bait, it has more to do with your frame than your height. I'm tall and busty (for my frame) but I basically have bird bones otherwise and tend to look deceptively short in photos. So it is possible, you just have to be mindful of your measurements.

hello, 5'8" with 34DD and I wear lolita daily just fine. I even fit into some AP OP's with a tight sports bra on over my regular bra. If you're like me and don't care about your skirt being a little short then you're fine, if you want to be more modest invest in underskirts and petticoats with nice lace outer layers longer than your dresses. Take care to not buy brand socks that are notorious for not stretching. Otherwise being a tall lolita isn't that hard especially if you don't give a shit about the autistic screeching when you have a bit of thigh showing.

i’m 5’11” w a 95 bust/74 waist and honestly all of my problems are with brand skirts and salopettes. i just can’t wear them without my coord looking like a costume. it depends on your proportions too. you have to consider if your torso is short and your legs are long, skirts are going to look even shorter on you. it’s not impossible but you have to put in more work/think about ways to elongate dresses and lines. other gulls have already mentioned innocent world as a good option and i agree, i love them. good luck on ur journey as a tallita

I don't anticipate the shallow cup sizes fitting you in a flattering way, so my guess-recommendation is plus-size cutsew tucked to show your waist + optional plus-size cardigan/bolero with regular skirts. Maybe you can find something suitable from Maxicimam, Meta, or Taobao.

If you're 5' and your waist size is 29 inches, I'd advise you to work out. You're likely a bit delusional about how much of that bust size is fat, because there is no reason you should have a 29" waist at 5 feet tall if you weren't fat.. No, boobs that large do not look good in Lolita. Lolita looks best on flatter chests, unfortunately, but just the size of you is too large for your height..

Nayrt but a 30inch waist on a 5 foot tall woman is kinda fat. I am 4 inches taller, and at my highest weight I had a 28 inch waist. A 30 inch waist is customary on women almost a foot taller than the titcow in question.

I really don’t recommend self posting here, but your figure and hair are very nice and look good for classic. MM will most likely be too small (with the exception of a few shirred pieces like Farufetto), but Innocent World jsks will work and some years’ VM.

OK, but longer torso you should have LESS FAT than a 29" waist. Also 140 lbs for 5 foot tall, you need to seriously diet. You shouldn't even be anywhere near that range, just at 120 you'd be a lard ass.

I’m 5’0 150lbs with a 29” waist and 35” bust (freshman15 except more like pandemic30). Honestly, I still fit into most of my shirred pieces, especially the newer burando releases from the past few years. Lolita really is a fatgirl fashion lol.

It depends on the style you’re going for but Meta will likely fit since almost everything is shirred nowadays. IW and AP OPs (not including AP’s bag dresses) are probably not going to accommodate your bust. Baby ymmv. VM runs smaller so probably not going to fit. Really, your best bet is to lose weight so you have more options. The good thing about being short is that you don’t actually have to lose that much for there to be a difference.
