>Innocent World fits me the best since all of the JSKs I’ve bought from them have longer waists. Angelic pretty can be difficult to wear since the waists hit me at my ribs.

>how tall are you?
5'10/178cm
>what substyle(s) (or j-fashions, if you wear multiple) do you wear?
I wear classic and sweet. For other jfashion, mori kei.
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
I'd say IW is best because of the long versions of dresses. Depending on the dress, AP tends to be a little short on me.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Tights are a big help if you feel like you're showing too much leg.
>feel free to gripe about being a giraffe-chan
I do sometimes have problems where the lace OTKs become knee highs on me because of my twiggy legs. That and long sleeved blouses never entirely cover my arms.

>how tall are you?
177cm / 5'9 and some change
>what substyle(s) (or j-fashions, if you wear multiple) do you wear?
ouji & classic, as for non-lolita stuff i like late 90s/early 2000s japanese punk street fashion
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
IW's ouji pieces are great-- i tend to have gripes with AP like others said, especially older AP which sucks since those are the only pieces i like from them lol
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
tights > OTKs, don't be afraid to look at indie/taobao stuff, esp for longer dresses if you want more options than just IW, JetJ, etc.
>feel free to gripe about being a giraffe-chan
the most annoying thing is seeing a piece i like at a great price on LM and then checking the length and knowing it'll be up to my mid-thigh. also idk if other tall lolitas have this problem but i have big feet and therefore cute burando shoes are a pipe dream

I have the shoe problem as well. I'm 25.0 cm/size 8.5 US and there's not many LL brand shoes or they sell out right away.

Me too, me too. At least I wear classic and can get away with not-lolita shoes as long as the rest of the coord is decent. I can't imagine how miserable it is to be a tall sweet lolita.

>how tall are you?
175 cm
>what substyle(s) (or j-fashions, if you wear multiple) do you wear?
grandma's couch classic
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
I also mention IW because of the long versions of the dresses. JetJ looks great on me but I'm not too fond of their current style.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Just give up on brand blouses other than IW and invest in better taobao shops and indie.
>feel free to gripe about being a giraffe-chan
You all are always saying just buy your tights from taobao but I've had miserable luck with finding tights that actually fit on me. Legs too long, wrong brands, bad luck, who knows. Tell me all your secrets because I'm running out of tights once again.

>how tall are you?
183 cm / 6'0
>what substyle(s) (or j-fashions, if you wear multiple) do you wear?
Mostly sweet lolita, with some sweet-leaning classic and gothic.
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
Angelic Pretty JSKs with adjustable straps work well for me. I absolutely love the fit of my LIEF pieces.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Underskirts suck, just wear skin tone tights under socks. Only buy dresses with adjustable or elastic straps, unless you're getting something custom. Short sleeve brand blouses/cutsews are ok, but only get long sleeves that are adjustable or custom length unless you want to look silly or you think you can layer wristcuffs under.
When buying large shoes, sizing can be weird so your best bet is to go by that brand's specific size chart and compare to your foot length, not your normal shoe size.
>feel free to gripe about being a giraffe-chan
Being overweight and tall is a nightmare, I need to diet so I'll only have to focus on having things fit me height-wise. I fucking hate when the more size-inclusive dress in a release is the OP. AP is driving me up a fucking wall. I just made a large Angelic Imprint order for shoes, fingers crossed there are no size issues!

I wear mostly classic sweet,. I also wear Menhera daily.
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
Jsks without adjustable starps tend to be an hassle obviously. As the other said I dislike long sleeved stuff from AP because it hits me mid forearm. I enjoy Meta because bodice and sleeves are longer (god bless they make sleeves longer on purpose to look more dolly or something). Most of their stuff is shirred, which is good for my giantess bone structure.
I also love Listen Flavor for casual. Since they go for this oversized look, everything fits me, lol.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
For oldschool, lace OTKs look better with a shorter dress than UTKs. Don't be afraid of modifying your tights into OTKs, it'll look so much better.
>feel free to gripe about being a giraffe-chan
I'm tired of having to look out for so much stuff when i buy pieces while smol chans live on easy mode, lol

>how tall are you?
174cm

I mostly wear classic and gothic but I sometimes dabble in more mature or retro looking sweet stuff
>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
I love the cut of Meta's tea-length dresses it's super flattering on me but unfortunately there a only a few designs/prints that I like. I love IW but since I'm also a bit chubby I can't fit their new releases at all. I'm right at the max measurements and in my experience you have to be around 10cm smaller than the max for IW to look good. I actually really like a lot of their newer releases and I'm so salty that I can't fit into any of them since none of them have shirring. I bet whenever they release a piece with shirring again it will be some highwaisted bullshit. Oh and the MMM Catherine OP is super flattering on me I think.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Unpopular opinion: I love underskirts! I feel like OTT classic really ruined their reputation but nice quality underskirts (IW!) can help so much. Just one layer of lace peeking out from your dress can make such a difference and I think people often dismiss underskirts cause their mind immediately goes to several rows of ruffles making a normal dress tea length which looks like shit. I think sometimes you can even get away with wearing an underskirt with AP but it's harder to coord and only works with pieces that don't have a built-in-petticoat and the underskirt needs to match the color of the bottom lace.
I personally also started to sell most of my blouses and switch them out for boleros. Especially IW's boleros are just beautiful and fit me way better than blouses. I make sure to wear a big necklace to balance out my bare neck or I just use detachable bibs under the dress+bolero combo to give the illusion of a blouse.

Ludwig's holy blade is the best quality weapon for a mixed STR/SKL build, but you can try some other choices out like the saw spear + evelyn if you're curious. In general the moveset on LHB is superior to almost everything else in the game unless you're just a really big fan of heavy weapons or katanas. You'll run into far fewer situations where you feel like the weapon you're using is just not suited to the content when using LHB.

Love AtePie and Physical Drop and recently bought a Meta plus size piece given its length. Hopefully that works out.
>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Old school pieces tend to be pretty short. Most of mine are from MAM and BtSSB. Invest in 2 good pairs of bloomers, black and white.
I'm probably not the only person who has OTKs become UTKs on them.

Do you have any specific shops/indie brands to recommend? The only one I know off the top of my head is Strawberry Witch, but they're more on the sweet side.

I have some of their tights, but while they are forgiving, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone above 175cm. I am 177cm and while they can stretch up just long enough, it is not comfortable. I have had Angelic Pretty tights that stretch better/are more comfortable to wear.
I found Komachi and Violet Fane to be the most stretchy, but their designs aren’t the most versatile.

167cm/5'6" which is right at that borderline of what works for lolita (pic related, Meta says >5'3" is Plus Size)

sweet, liz lisa, axes femme

>best/worst brands for tall people in your experience?
IW has the best length otks, but they don't release white ones much, it's all ivory or black. AP, BtSSB, and Meta OTKs all slide down under my knee. But even IW blouses are short in the sleeves.

>best tips or advice you might have for others?
Adjustable straps only, embrace UTKs, buy loliable normie tights (for example I got sheer polka dot ones from Amazon), short-sleeve tops, IW and Axes Femme cardigans. For Liz Lisa sweatshirt/sweater OPs that the models wear as-is, add a skirt for length; sakupan are good for not flashing people.

that pic says plus size, but it's actually the plus-plus. It does look kind of baggy on the model. You could try the plus size inbetween or go for the plus-plus anyway and get it taken in if you need to.

I tried on a pair of AP OTKs and they go to knee. I have huge fucking calves even when I only weighed 100lb. Shit fucking sucks. Also I need to lose like 30lb to be able to fit well into all my brand. I'm 37 bust 29 waist. The height isn't so much of an issue as the fat and torso length is. Ree
