The girls who are shrinking their heads just aren't paying attention or aren't bothering to correct the rest of the photo after the filter had been applied. they want the big eyed look, and making the rest of the face smaller helps achieve that. having a smaller jaw is more feminine and in some cases can make you look younger.

Pale skin is a normal thing in any society to desire since it indicated someone didn't spend time outside as a farmer meaning you were part of the aristocracy and tanned skin only became a popular thing in the West when passenger air travel became avaliable because it meant you had the money to travel to exotic locales. Pretty much everywhere else in the world, pale skin is the beauty standard.

There's this big cosplay curation page in FB 3 years ago called Sayapi Hiwatari that had over 200k followers, she used to be posted there alot and remember this was before reach was nerfed to incentivize paying for ad space so each post in that page would get 6k~10k likes on average, so her cosplays would get posted alongside big cosplayers such as Haneame.

Anon, I'm not sure which one of these you are but neither of these read as "she looks like her photos." Regardless, Wendy doesn't look like her photos irl -- I literally said she shoops herself really weirdly (and frankly just looks creepy after the shoop). The whole point of this thread is to show how much people photoshop. How would comparing bad and good candids show how much someone shoops? A lof of the posts upthread had extremely unflattering photos as the "unshooped" version, which were then compared against nicely posed/lit/edited photos. You can't really tell how much or how little someone shoops based off of that. I looked for photos where the girls were posed in similar angles, so that it's actually possible to tell what's shooped and what's not.

What? How is making comparison photos of shooped versus unshooped is implying that they look like both? That literally makes no sense, the only difference between the edited vs candid pictures that I posted and the rest of the ones in thread are that I chose decent looking candids.

I honestly don't know what's so hard to understand here-- if you're going to post comparison images for a thread about photoshopping, it doesn't make sense to compare photos where the elements are so different that you can't even tell what's been shooped or not.
