When I first got into jfashion, those Priscila twintails were all the rage. I bought a smaller version that was made to go around a bun. The key was to secure it down with pins. I had done a bad job on one of them and while walking around/talking to someone at college, it fell off and hit the ground. The face they made when what looked like half my hair fell out... man I never wore those again.

I was cosplaying as Nico Yazawa and ever so gracefully ate it while going up the steps carrying my bags of useless stuff I had just bought from the dealers room at a con back in 2015 or 2016. Went back to the hotel and changed, I haven’t worn the µ's school uniform since then and have yet to buy an Aqours one because of that experience.

When I was a new Lolita I wore a shitty first time body line coord out to a con and when I saw a Lolita across the hall I fuckin bolted over and spilled my spaghetti trying to talk to her about cgl shit.

Last year I was at a ren faire and saw a random Lolita and awkwardly asked about her coord but I can’t be social with girls to save my life so I assume I came off as a creep. The worst part is we kept running into each other and each time I’d attempt to chat so I’m gonna guess she thought I was following her. She just had a really good coord and I was flustered.

While the 2nd season of Durarara!! only came out many many years later, I'm surprise her first thought was "she got the wrong anime" rather than "did I forget that character?" or "is it someone from the novels?".

Hope cosplay handling counts. I was doing some cosplay handling for a girl in a huge ballroom gown cosplay. I'm carrying her stuff, opening doors etc. Midday, I realize the bow that's supposed to be on her bum is missing. Huge bow from a $300 dress. We spent two hours searching for it at the con. We gave up and went back to the hotel to get her undressed so we could go see if there was a craft store where we could go buy a quick replacement. Find the bow in the hotel parking lot, in a puddle. I spent twenty minutes washing it in the tub and blow drying it before adding some wire from the cosplay repair kit to stabilize it. Keep track of your bows, ladies and handlers

I was walking through the dealers room and some older dude that was selling his books or something started talking to me and said
