It's fun and creative. Though there's definitely a cookie cutter way to wear old school, there's a lot of room so play around and all of the old schoolers I like really seem to do their own thing within the sub style.

Nostalgia of a time where i wasn't in lolita yet that seemed so widely different and unattainable once i got aware of what lolita was in my early teens. My guess is that it came out somewhere around 2002? The buttons for the straps on the back are especially odd, they don't really fit the rest of the outfit and feel super delicate just being held up with a thin string to lift velveteen.
