Let's talk accessories.

What's your favorite way to accessorise a coord? Are you a headbow, hat, or hairpin person? What are some of your favorite brands for accessories, jp or western?

Personally, I'm in love with Anonhat hats popular with Japanese lolitas. Wish their pieces popped up more often in the secondhand market.

I love hats, especially boaters, but I don't get to wear them often because I basically travel everywhere using headphones.
It's a shame, really, because I'll be like 'yeah that hat looks really cute with my coord' but then remember that I'll be commuting that day. Keeping the hat in my regular bag while travelling will scrunch it up/fold it too much, and bringing a separate bag just for the hat is too much of a hassle.
This is why I love berets, though. A nice beret will give a similar vibe to a hat with all the practicality of being really easy to travel with.
(Scrolling through my inspo folder to find a pic made me realize that more than half of the coords in there have hats. Living vicariously through my saved images, I guess.)

I like clips. They're the easiest to put on.

Maybe they were expensive and she doesn't find ear buds comfortable.

Personally, i really like round circle headdresses a lot. I also like head bows, but I struggle to find some that I like, so maybe I might think about making some.

I want to try customizing beret like this. It seems easy and cute.

If you're looking for something similar, Sylvia Quaint makes hats too which are quite similar and you can basically customise any colour. I bought one from her and it's one of the nicest hats I've ever had.

>What's your favorite way to accessorise a coord?
I'm assuming head pieces mainly? It depends on the coordinate, but I either go with rosettes or hats these days.
>Are you a headbow, hat, or hairpin person?
If you held me at gunpoint to drop every type of accessory except for one type I'd probably go with hats. They're more versatile IMO and they protect you from the sun.
>What are some of your favorite brands for accessories, jp or western?
I mentioned>>10450385 but Anon hat as well. I love Axes Femme for more casual accessories, kaneko shop also has nice accessories. I get most of my hats from either the thrift or vintage stores these days.

Doesn't matter if you do, Anonhat is stupid popular and whatever they make sells out pretty instantly or through lottery.
Most people probably won't bother with this painful process to get the hat. >>10450385
Sylvia Quaint is a better recommendation for Western lolitas.

kachushas; the old maxipad headdresses but in band form instead of ribbon
vintage jp, possibly etsy if it's visibly good quity

Being a fan of mid-victorian fashion, I love bonnets, but they can look so wrong so easily - they have to be styled well. I’m such a sucker for rectangle headdresses too, I think they’re so cute with so many dresses and I like that you can have one that’s more pared down or with OTT long ruffled lace

Headbows are generally my least favorite type of headdress but I do love more understated floppy bows that lie on the head like pic related.

>>10450476
Rectangle headdresses are really cute, I wish they were more popular outside of oldschool.

>>10450069
Wish I could use those, my ears are really weirdly shaped (absurdly small and oddly bent ear canal) so buds aren't an option.

They do come with 2 side combs, but one windy day those things do nothing.

On topic right now my favorite headdress are the maxipad ones.

I have mostly maxipads which I rly like and work w most of my coords, but I’d love to cop some vintage inspired hats for when i wanna go a little more classic ott.
I wear classic and oldschool so its a bit harder to go ham

>What's your favorite way to accessorise a coord?
I love using a variety of hair clips big and small, especially in combination with a beret or headband.
>Are you a headbow, hat, or hairpin person?
Headbands, clips and berets are my favorite, though that also depends on the season (since I can always wear clips I'd say I'm mostly a clips person). I actually hate "traditional" headbows cause they make my head hurt.
>What are some of your favorite brands for accessories, jp or western?
I'm a brandwhore so most of my stuff is AP with a bit of Liz Lisa and taobao brands in the mix. I also own one axes femme hat that I want to wear again once it's cold enough.

Offhand those look like Crucis (taobao brand) photos. You might look around at their stuff to check.
