Yeah when I said I'd like a sweet general thread I was imagining it being made after the AP or BTSSB threads are already full. I think the AP one with more posts is still like 100 posts away. I guess this one is here for later?

It’s weird to see so many generals but I guess this is the better place for my theory.
So, right now we’re in the middle of a resurgence in OTT sweet. The last time this happened, the next target was OTT classic, followed by old school, then goth. Based on this pattern, do you guys think the trends will continue or do you think there will be some obscure trend?

I think it won't really come back in the same way. OTT classic is still going strong in some ways, I never want the resurgence of Madonna crowns. But I think right now lolita fashion is the most diverse it has ever been. Anything from ultra casual like the AP hoodie cutsews to Ott hime princess crap.
