Maybe you guys are right. I thought about it and figuring that perhaps makeup threads would go in /fa/ instead. Jfashion make up is just regular makeup and costume/art makeup is just makeup if it's just headshots. I'll wait for a mod to confirm the idea but in the meantime what do you think? I just want something other than ahegao and borderline porn cosplay threads.

The opposite but maybe things have changed. There were times when mods will give you a warning message to communicate or even post in the thread to clarify something. I remember being asked to be banned for a few days just so I could study and not be tempted to browse 4chan. But this was many years ago.

No. You would be taken to a page as if you were banned and in the reason for a ban there would be a message from the mod that banned you. Sometimes they would say a joke or comment on what you posted.

oh yea that's still a thing. They don't really do joke messages anymore though. I sometimes get bans for other people when I use my phone but they're easy to appeal if you know how to write a coherent paragraph (which a lot of anons can't so...) - but the bans always just say what the person was banned for and show the post that got the ban. But it'll just say they're banned.

And yea. Sounds like you've been gone for quite some time. So much time that this is a different place now.

I think you made this thread with good intentions, but none of the pictures provided focus on the content of this board. There's plenty of material in the jfash subgenres (specially the more unique looking ones like decorakei and monster girls) or cosplay. The widowmaker post was a great example of some amazing bodypainting skill. There's plenty of that to go around. Next time, I think that would be a good area to focus on.

Not sure why we're getting a sudden surge of ero-focused threads. They reach bump limit every time so I guess there's some desire for it. Would prefer not to have to see so many but it is what it is.
