So out of all the Neon Star Diner pre-order stuff, what are you guys absolutely not buying? The "blouse" and the skirt aren't crazy, but they definitely looks like they have to be coorded in a more casual style.

It looks like the AP USA sites still taking pre-orders; is that normal at this point? Somehow I remember the process having a more limited window in the past.

I bought the skirt in navy and missed out on the headband, sadly. I’d like to get all the jewelry except for the record necklace, I need stuff that’ll work with the rest of my wardrobe.

I skipped on the blouse and the JSK cut (not a fan of halter straps) and the OP cut (can only do so many looks with that theme), I can see the skirt being more versatile desu

I’m really glad I’m not the only one. I thought it was just me. I’m really apalled that they’re not taking responsibility and blaming their customers for their failures. Also, they’re wanting to out the “problematic” customer to other indie brands. If she is as “problematic” as they say she is, why don’t you publicly post proof? Everyone should know about problem customers, why should only indie brands know? Or are they too scared someone else will call them out even further?

I put a $700 order with a japanese secondhand site and only after I asked they told me they didn’t have an estimated date of when they would ship, and said they “don’t care” when the package would be picked up lol. In the first place their site didn’t have any notes about not shipping internationally so I don’t think they were expecting international orders? I also asked if they can use Yamato, DHL or surface to which they said no, so that was extremely disappointing lol.

Pretty much. As far as I can tell, for all stores, there is not a one-to-one representation of what's in the physical store branches and the online shops. If you're really after something and it's not listed online anymore, it might be on the rack somewhere. Almost all of the Japanese stores I shop at operate like this; Innocent World treats your order as a request and then they have to have a few days to check if it's actually on the shelf anywhere.

With the actual storefronts re-opening, it might be useful for people to start scouting to figure out if there's anything not listed online but available in shop. I'm tempted to check out the USA store in case there are some left over things from pre-lockdown.

Anyways, anyone have any guesses as what will be included in the apparel bags? I just checked which dresses went out of stock after the happy bag release and I've noticed all but the green size 11 in the Juliet short op is out of stock (there were some white and blue stock before the happy bags iirc). So either they got snatched during the sale, or hopefully everyone likes goth gingham in their happy bags.
On that note, I hope the accessory bags don't have those stupid vanity bags, phone cases, or scrunchies. I don't see the scrunchies anymore and all their jewelry remains not on sale except for that dumb fucking cowboy necklace...

They are probably referring to the last accessory bags that literally counted a regular paper shop bag as an item last time (alongside with scrunchies and a vanity bag). The apparel bag included that terrible floral print dress no one bought, but I think it was expected.

This one probably has things that were on sale this time.

They won't make color ways that they don't have come out of thin air, so expect blue or green Juliets and green sleeping gardens, maybe one or two gardenias and a cross op...maybe a few of the weird colored summer catherine ops for good measure. Blouse wise, many will probably receive the first lace cutsew. Probably vanity bags, wallets, and scrunchies again. Phones cases are likely, too.
If they include socks, I'd expect the ones that look plain with the candelabra logo.
Just the usual unloading of things they couldn't sell...save for the new choker in the accessory bag.

I'm very interested about the production of prints, but I'm not sure what to ask or how to make it a more interesting question, other than how 2 git gud at textile design (if anyone is more articulate than me plz help kek). Some things I'm interested in knowing about are
>How and where do ap get their ideas and inspirations for prints from
>How long do series take to get designed and made
>Does 1 artist work on 1 print, or is it multiple artists and alterations on one piece

I think this question's been answered before, iirc it takes about 6 months from start to finish for each series. and like, an illustrator does the print, someone else does dress cuts, patterning, another person would do something like jewelry etc.

those who bought 25.000 yen happy bags have more chances to get horrible items imo so i didn't take a risk and just bought something i liked for that price.

Er. I do that. I take trips to Japan quite often and have terribly wonderful enabler friends who work in Japanese companies. So a lot of my stuff is bought in person from closet child, or some friend or another is able to snag a new release or in-store exclusive. Between that, and just liking new AP (so I'd buy them first-hand, not secondhand), my LM feedback is entirely selling only.

I do understand what you mean about the information being publicly available. I don't think you're creeping. I just think some of your conclusions aren't as clear cut as you think.
