To be honest her coords were great, she just had bad makeup and a rocky personality. I still look up to her for OTT sweet inspo, old coords and the occasional new one that’s still good.

I like tsumikko a lot. Her feed and aesthetic are beautiful, and I always see her commenting on others' coords thoughtfully. My wardrobe is also primarily lavender/sax so I love having a specific person to refer to for inspo. She wears a pretty even mix of taobao and brand, and makes it all look equally good, plus lists shops in her captions by default. Lots of both casual and regular coords. Really everything I could want in following someone.

Her use of layering and texture has been a massive inspiration in how I approach building my own gothic wardrobe. I'm not nearly at her level yet, but studying her wardrobe and how she uses pieces together has really improved my own coordinates (in my opinion).

I agree that it's extreme and I think you should be able to dress that way as a depiction of symbolism.
However, I don't think it can be baseless. The symbol on the hat looks nearly the same which is why when people see it at a glance, they associate the two.

Even though I like the set and I think you should be allowed to portray that type of military - I can also see why people want others to stop portraying this stuff because it leads to a path of certain type of thinking.

It's like how edgy kids on 4chan make racist jokes under the guise that they're just jokes.
That then spreads to people who don't understand that it's just a joke and then they take it to heart and suddenly the alt-right is a growing community that hates black people.

I think in the US, the Chic-fi-la scandal is very widely known. I lived in a red state growing up and even I knew about it back then.

She's not inspirational at coording, but I'd say her posting style fits the elegant part of the prompt in that it's very straightforward and consistent. You can get a clear look at the front and back of the hot new set without it being covered by a mountain of accessories and without colors manipulated to look more matching than they really are through filters. She looks neatly put-together and comfortable enough to walk around town without sacrificing the petti or shoes. And the face is covered so it doesn't distract from the clothes.
