Casual coord for work from yesterday. Bought mustard shoes that I hope will match the cardigan. may experiment with a belt over it next time or even get a new mustard cardigan all together. Is using a bolero and a detachable collar cheating? Maybe.
I thrifted this 80's vintage bolero years ago and I've been dying to wear it with classic lolita lately, but I was struggling with the clashing print and it's unique color! It's not black, it's more like a really deep warm plum shade. I bought the ribbon for my headbow hoping it'd match, but it was still brighter than the bolero.
After that, I gave up on matching and threw in 2 more clashing shades of red velvet and leaned into a more dolly kei influenced style!
