In Japan, several prestigious kyo odoris were cancelled that havent been cancelled since WW2 because of the virus. If it cancelled these big events, then i promise you its going to cancel flimsy ass AX.
Look at the guest list? Theyre basically cardboard standees meant to reassure attendees that the event isnt going to be cancelled, but it very much is going to be at the very last second to minimize refunds.

None of the spring/summer events I'm attending have publicly mentioned cancellation (knock on wood), but seeing SXSW canceled makes me pretty nervous. Then again, who can really know what this will all look like come May?

they'll likely try to change it to a date that works for as many guests as possible and go from there. it will be a long, laborious process of asking all the guests and then asking all the panelists, event hosts, artists and dealers to confirm if they are still available and then opening up more slots/staffing opportunities. basically they will have to start all over again (which is why many cons are just shelved until next year) obviously cons would love to be able to reschedule and have the exact same line-up but there's just no guarantee.
