B) This is an exchange thread, I have drawn more coords of others than I have posted pics of myself, but I've done both.
C) I've had sold original watercolors of pics I've done here, so just because people post coords here it doesn't mean they're cheap and unwilling to pay artists.

it's not about the market or not, though that's debatable since AP does make novelties with their prints on them. japan is different about their fan art, yes, but if she is just pasting and deforming the print file in an illustrator. she can't do that in the same way that you can't take a print file and sell a notebook with the design on it. it would be a grey area for if she was redrawing the art anyway. also, not related but fair use is really misunderstood and abused in the art comm.

Yeah she need to be re-drawing that to sell it in print, I agree. It's way too similar from a legal/ethics perspective. It would artistically blend better if the style matched hers too, I think it would make them look really cute and have more personality. I understand doing it the quick way for a commission that is not super pricey, which is just about having a fun pic for yourself. But if you take it to print you need to put in some extra work for that extra money.

The point of commissions is to get exactly what you want. Everyone else has to buy “off the rack.” My friend sells t shirts that they take commissions for. The person paying extra does so to get the exact tee shirt they want. Everyone else just gets to buy it if it suits their fancy.

The actual reason is that mobile photos almost all contain XCIF data that shows where it was taken and other stuff, and 4chan doesn't allow images with files inside of them (for good reason, back in the day it was used to hide cheese pizza in regular images or even full viruses).
