I love vintage 50's-80's room decor, I have green and white furniture and pink walls. What kinda bedding and curtains should I get?

Poka dot bedding and curtains both with pompom trim pink or green or mix them. Like pink comforter and green sheets (if it's a gentle green and not a harsh green)

My computer room, it looks a little less empty in person but I plan to hang up more wall decor/posters anyhow

Am I the only one that worries about putting clothing near windows? I love open closets but afraid daylight will fade the clothing. What's the best way to prevent that from happening? I want to make a walk in closet in a spare room with Ikea Algot but I've been putting that off because of my fears (actually already bought the parts lol). Clothes will only fade if direct sunlight repeatedly gets on the clothing over an extended period of time. Like when you put a poster on a wall, or a window and one week later all the magenta has faded, and then cyan follows.
So yes, good blinds and curtains will be enough. Don't worry.

Can you have free reign over a guest room or another space?

Even my mom let her husband have his office like he wanted it and have some of his decor, which she does not like, in the dining area.

She's grumbled to me about the stuff in the dining area, but she thinks it's not fair to be the only one allowed to decorate and lets it be.

My sister's mother-in-law complained about her love of skull decor as she thought my sister would "grow out of it".

I'm sending her skull decor for Christmas. If she wants to bitch she can be told, "My sister gave it to be and would feel bad if I don't put it up."

I got her a skull KillStar bag for her birthday and am not going to stop giving her goth things because someone complains so long as she still likes them.
