The only time I could wear Babyssb socks is when I was under one hundred pounds. Now my BMI is just within the lower range of normal for my height (5'4") and they are too tight; my body likes to store fat on my upper arms, calves and hips for some reason. AP fits fine now, whereas they use to be too loose and Meta is now a little loose, whereas it use to slide down and gather at my ankles.

My theory is simple; besides thread choice affecting how the sock holds to your leg, I'm pretty certain brand socks are all made with a different fit model. I don't think anyone is "too fat" for not fitting a certain brand, but considering my own proportions; if you fit literally none of the brands (in socks), you might be considered "plus size" within Lolita fashion.

So, I was attending the Angelic Pretty Paris Teaparty yesterday and want to talk about the new collection they showed. Sadly no photos, so you have to trust me and wait for them to come true.

First something that could or could not count as a Halloween release. It was a chiffon overlay print. An all-over print with crosses, moons, roses, hearts that have 3 arrows in them and the words „Be Mine“ on them. They showed it in pink with the print in all-black and sax with white print. They have been looking for a designer for a while longer than this Neo stuff so I think it’s an issue with finding someone who makes what they are looking for. I also don’t think it’s a high paying role.

But also keep in mind that tons of fans wanted old releases and so they are doing what is wanted by rereleasing older stuff and making items similar to their early 2000s style.

They do seem to be making a point of summer goth wear, this hat is basically the Catherine bonnet thing but different material, which goes with the summer version of Catherine op and ankle socks. I don’t think this is a bad move to make really, I just wish they were a bit faster paced. Doing releases that are rehashing old concepts are fine if they are because making new prints and dresses is a long process. So I’m hoping they will have a new release for fall since they already spent half a year on hyping Silent moon.

Unless you're seeking something incredibly rare, obtaining pieces from brands, in general, is fairly easy if you have disposable income and you wait around long enough and search enough. I'm not even rich, and I've obtained my DDs by just being persistent and keeping money set aside just in case. With so many brands doing re-releases and MTOs it's easier to get items you missed out on. I've obtained a few DDs this way.

I do own a few rare pieces, but I bought them because they were things I really liked, or this rare version was in a cut or color I preferred.

Some of the facebook buying and selling groups do allow WTB posts, you could look into those as well.

If you have posting access to the selling comm previously, you could probably still post on the old lj comm and then have the settings set to send you email notification if you do get messages. Couldn't hurt for extra visibility.
