Will be "done" with the clothes after I sew the straps down in a bit. There's a lot to fix but they're kind of big structural things where I'd start over from scratch and there's no time left to do that now. Just focusing on getting the wig into a more presentable state except I have no idea what I'm doing. Luckily the hairstyle is pretty mundane and doesn't have crazy spikes or wig dying required.

Any word if they are actually banning crossplayers this year who do it for the le epic joke shit? I reported a slew of them last year, even wrote a letter in to staff about the issues they cause with people in the transition phase but haven't heard anything back.

The difference between going from a small con to a larger con is like going from Disneyland to Disneyworld. There will be some similarities but everything is on a larger scale. The guests are (usually) bigger, the panel sizes are bigger, the lines are way longer, the halls are crowded, and the heat is unbearable. But, the fun is on a bigger scale as well. Honestly I've never gone to weebcons for guests. Granted this is my first big one that actually has more than one person that actually makes anime in Japan, but it's always been about exploring huge dealers rooms and artist alleys and generally just spending time in a city that isn't my own. The odd quality panel here and there is also nice. For this con I'm most excited for the Gundam 40th Anniversary Panel, but I never get shit like that in my local cons. They're still a decent size (Nekocon is closest to me) but I don't give a rats ass about English voice actors, so I never really care about guests.

The only restaurant in Little Tokyo I've been to is Marugame Monzo and it had tasty if gimmicky italian-japanese fusion udon.
