I went to the SnK premiere with a friend, mostly to see Yuki Kaji. My wrists are small af so they made sure to attach it with very little wiggle room; I had to cut it off when I got home. When they start walking you into the venue, they lead you through a long hallway lined with volunteers on either side and you have to walk down it with your wrist raised. Then you have to show it again before they let you in the screening room.

I really love Walkure but I didn't feel that it would be worth purchasing a JKL concert ticket just to hear a handful of Walkure's songs. Most of DTLA is a shithole and I’ve seen people get mugged in broad day light. Homeless have no fear. Other night a transient through a sign and broke a guys car door and window as he was at a red light, police did nothing after arriving 30 min later. You’ll see methbheads pulling bleeding scabs, people screaming to themselves and running after randoms, people texting getting their phones jacked by a transient on a scooter. It’s basically mad max at night. Always go in at least pairs and pretend they don’t exist. Try to maintain a distance of at least a yard in case they have a shank. Uber and lyft are your friend and wait indoors till the vehicle arrives.
People always think “it won’t happen to me” but I see it happen to people every single shift.
