I posted in the Texas thread and I’ll repost it here. I’m working with some friends at an artists alley booth and I’m not one for panels and shit like that, so I can only give what I’ve seen
It’s not our first time tabling, but we still consider ourselves beginners or edging into feeling like we know what we are doing. We sold a whole bunch of stuff on the first day. Made back everything we spent on the first day so the rest is pure profit. For some reason this year has been great for us and and everyone around us. It wasn’t NEAR as disorganized as it was like two years ago where they just told us to grab a table instead of having things planned out. I’ll answer whatever y’all want to know but in all, we made money, networked a bit, and met some cool people which is why we go.

To further on, some neighbors did get moved without notice and the old table location is still there on the app and the map so they were upset as they told their followers where they would be and aren’t there now. We did have some issues getting helper badges but I think that was miscommunication with their volunteers (a common AM problem) and was resolved quickly n
