I wanted to share a good find I had recently.

I always love pleated skirts but it's hard wearing them. I'm pear shaped so even if I find one that fits the waist (which isnt too difficult for me), they are never long enough and barely cover my ass.

I found this shop and decided to take a chance with them for the custom sizing https://www.etsy.com/shop/AriShaeCosplay

Their stock photos are meh but looking through the reviews people seemed happy and customer photos made them look nicer. They arrived recently and are worth it!
I'm not a seamstress at all so I cant give an indepth review of the sewing. They appear well constructed to me. They even have surged stitching inside which i know uses a different machine. The fabric is not see-through and seems sturdy enough. Fit to the measurements I gave. I did give her a slightly bigger waist inch than my own and I'm glad I did. Because the fabric doesn't have much stretch. If it fit super snug I'm sure itd dig into your stomach.

Anyways here a quick rundown
-order and inch or two more than your actual waist size
-the 20 inch length box pleat skirt was my favorite over the knife pleat skirt.
-if you are looking to order in colors that match a pastel wardrobe I rec the petal pink and lake blue colors (the lake blue swatch looks wack but its color irl is perfect)

Unfortunately that's too true. Unlike with lolita other jfash dont have an emphasis on fit, silhouette or looking a certain way besides colors, types of items. Plus Size fairy kei is the worst offender sadly... They just throw on whatever pastel shit they have without paying attention to the coord outside of "this thing is pastel" and don't pay attention to how it looks on their body type. Also most of those Etsy fairy kei and yume kawaii printed skirts, dresses, etc are made out of shitty polyester and spandex, mass produced by some company that provides them to all the custom printing places. There is no care paid to fit or construction.


I miss that pink haired very plus size blogger girl. She was huge (and losing weight slowly) but her style really inspired me. She knew how to dress for her body and make each outfit have a specific feeling.

Let's talk about dresses that actually give good waist to bust proportions. I think a lot of us would benefit from those types of dresses but they seem to be nearly impossible to find in sweet?? Even when the dress looks like it has a waist and full shirring, inevitably it just becomes empire waist on people with larger boobs... I find that I actually look much less plus size when wearing more normie dresses because they account for that fit and proportion.

TejaJamilla tights are the best in quality and in print. She does the printing while the tight is stretch, so when you wear them the image isn't horribly distorted. Which is a problem I have with many MANY places that advertise plus size friendly OTKs or tights. Even if they "fit". The image will look fucking horrible stretched out on my chunky leg

Ive also been thinking of making up a few designs and printing them for myself off of artsmoo. If you are familiar with their tights they fit and dont have the bad warped images like I described. So maybe something anons can consider for themselves if they have any artistic abilities

One thing about TejaJamilla, I bought a pair of tights from them and although I'm not fat, I'm tall, and the listing said they would go up to my height.
I don't know whether she put the wrong size in or something but the crotch stopped literally halfway down my thigh. Not sure whether they stretch better horizontally or I just got a bad one, but I spent £20 on a pair of tights that didn't fit.
