It wasnt anywhere near that much. It was only like a buck or two CAD. I really enjoyed frendsim, and it was used to make up a lot of the lost income from the kickstarter fiasco. It was reasonably priced, and helped to support Hiveswap. The only two ones people had an issue with were Marvus (bc it was pretty sexual ig?) and Lanque (bc "HOW COULD U MAKE MUH TRANZ BOI VILLIAN??? and also pretty sexual).

Epilogue traffic and interest was nothing. It was only slightly higher than last year, and the only people that read it were the people still dumb enough to be interested in the comic. Now all the characters are so thoroughly fucked by the epilogue, that things are basically dying out. Even the Davekat shippers are losing interest.

Imo I liked the epilogue. Reread the entirety of homestuck beforehand to enjoy it better. The only people who're bitching about it are the ones who only know homestuck from the fandom. They havent read the comics.

I wouldn't mind. I think most of the shitty part of the fandom moved on ages ago and pretend they were never a part of it.

I would love to see a researgance with higher quality cosplay without the stupidity.

I'm actually in the middle of rereading it now with my old friend from the fandom. Haven't cosplayed from it in 5~ years, but I was thinking about going back to it and checking off some of the cosplays I never got around to doing. Always wanted to do a Jade Crocker, loved the idea of Jade being a little rebel against the batterwitch.

Ohio Homestuck cosplayer here. I actually like the state of the Homestuck cosplay community now. It's easy to gather all of us at a con and chill and mingle. Most of the crazies dropped out years ago.

I hope to god it does. I want to make dramatic ancestor cosplays that I didn't have the skills for back when it was popular.
I'm also rereading it right now and appreciating that the few homestuck fans that are left are chill about it.
