And even if you can find that sweater for $10 - you're looking at 500yen for SS fees, anywhere from 500-1000 yen for shipping, and then there's international shipping which would be 15 USD minimum. It would come to about $40 USD, and if you buy from this anon you don't have to deal with all the shit I listed above.

Most items on Mercari have shipping included, and most people buying off of Mercari do large orders and don’t just buy one item. Realistically you would be spending about 1000¥ for the item, 500¥ fee and a small percentage for shipping your combined order. So $13 for the actual sweater, probably around $27 max if it’s the only item you ordered, which is really odd to do for such a small dollar amount. I never hear about people placing that small of an order.

I use a soft on fabrics/material sprayer called Vital Oxide. It works wonders in removing odors/smoke/stains/etc. I mostly do it to avoid athlete's foot and mildew smells. I also usually clean my shoes with a napkin after to remove lint. I really only do it with Lolita shoes though.
