Hey anon,
I didn't photoshop my waist. I have a bad habit of not always having the best posture at times so I think discrepancies in posing/a slouchy spine between the two photos might have made my waist look fatter/slimmer. I think it might also be worth noting that we do live in a 3D world, though, so viewing something from one plane won't necessarily reflect what a feature looks like from a different set of axes.
