What's your favourite short main-piece?
When do you consider a lolita main-piece to be short?
Do you prefer short or long cuts & why?
Do you think short main-pieces will make a comeback soon?

I love shorter dresses, because in my opinion it's more flattering on most peoples legs. Plus I'm tall, so wearing things that are intended to be short anyways looks less weird than having stuff that's supposed to reach your knees end up well above.
Most stuff is shortish on Mana too, but some are definitely designed to be so. Sadly, i don't think his Malice Mizer dress was ever for sale, otherwise it would be my DD lol
But there are other short Moitie pieces as well.

I'm tall and to me it depends. Girls with thin thighs look really good in shorter skirts and things, like mana, but if your thighs are too thick, it looks bad unless you're wearing peeking bloomers and tights and otks. Sadly, I have to do the latter, since no matter what I weigh my thighs are too womanly and curvy and it looks ita af.

I do that sometimes but I've been called out for "doing old-school wrong" in the CoF thread before, when I wasn't going for old-school at all. I was just wearing a solid dress with drawers. But apparently some people think you can only wear long drawers or peeking bloomers if every single aspect of your coord is old.
