I bought some buttons in Japan and after getting back it kinda dawned on me, some of them might be bootlegs, as they weren't in official packaging. Or they could be pre-owned, but I'm not really sure what to do with them now as a result

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I had started collecting merch for my best boy already and this seemed like a fun/creative way to display it.

>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
I have 4, ranging from$200-$500 each in investment money, and probably another $500 of merch for boy 1. I also started collecting for a second character recently, and I have spent about $300 so far, with another $400 out on order with my proxy.

>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I didn't have a budget for it, I just bought what I thought looked nice and wasn't disgustingly overpriced. I have a really well-paying job and private proxy hookup which helps so I don't have to worry about it.

>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Yes, absolutely. It's fun.

>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I really want to get into non-merch decoration; all of my favorite bags have something added to the decor which really makes them pop, and I don't know how to get there yet. So probably something that has both that and a lot of merch.

>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
I would really like to have more of an in-person swap meet-type meetups, and maybe ways to meet people outside of conventions/the facebook group.

I have a separate bag just for my fan merch. I didn't do it on purpose initially; I just realised I had too much for one bag so I decided this was a better way to separate it. I had one big bag and one smaller bag and my fan merch was much smaller than my big merch so I made the decision to separate it for organizational sake. I definitely like it a little better that way, but that's just me.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I found this thread at the beginning of 2016 when it was all Osomatsu-san, and it really appealed to me as a huge Ichimatsu fan. I like the idea of being able to show off my purchases rather than keeping them confined to my room.
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
It's very early stages and some was gifted but I'd say around $150. I was lucky in that I bought a lot in person in Japan so I didn't have to pay for a proxy and shippingx2
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
Didn't really have a plan
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
For me yeah
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I really like Salus' sailor style bags, ideally I'd have the navy colourway and a symmetrical layout
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
The people who shout gatekeeping at any suggestion that buying bootlegs is bad. I too would like to have more of an offline scene too, the pictures at Japanese meetups are always so cool.

I've always been a sucker for collecting keychains and buttons, so discovering itabagging was the perfect combination.

A few hundred dollars per bag.

>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
There was no plan, just buy.

>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Absolutely. It's fun and I get to support a series I love.

>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I own all my grails items, but I wish I had mass duples of a particular button to make a repeat layout button bag. I know repeat button bags aren't very original but they look visually the most impressive.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
Not sure. I had a vague idea of this hobby back in 2015 and made a bag of my OTP because I wanted to go to cons with it. I got back into it in 2017 after learning that a friend was also into this hobby.

>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
I have four full bags and two pouches. Anywhere from $150 to $300 for my full bags, including cost of the bags themselves. Around $20 to $50 for pouches.

>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I didn't really have a plan. I just wanted to make something pretty for myself.

>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Most of the time, yes, but I've faced some financial hardships that had me wishing I didn't spend so much on my bags sometimes.

>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
Call me lame but I really just want a repeating badge bag with my favorite heart can badge. It's a secret badge from an event. I've only managed to get one so far...

>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
I'm not really involved in it. I talk to a few people who collect but we just gush over merch rather than the bags themselves.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I became hyperfixated on one character in a series because it was in a time of a major depressive spell for me and seeing him on screen always made me happy so I started buying more and more merch of him to make me happier. It evolved into a collection and then I found out about itabags and went from there.
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
Not too sure of the price! I'm bad with keeping track. Probably around a little under $200??
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I had no plan at all except buy all the merch I could!
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Absolutely. Seeing him still brings me so much joy.
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I don't really have anything like that! Though I do want to get into making rosettes and such because I think it adds a nice touch to bags. I also want to incorporate LED lights.
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
I'm not big with interaction with other people who collect and have itabags! It's really only me in my friend group who does it but it would be nice to meet more people.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I was actually just browsing cgl one day and saw the thread and instantly became hooked. I always liked collecting merch, but never really had a big enough collection of any specific series/character to make a bag. That has since drastically changed.

>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
I don't like to think about this lmao. Easily over 1k. And I'm still actively buying merch all the time.

>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
Not a lot. My first bag was a heart bag and all I had planned was to fill that and be done. Then my competitiveness and compulsion got in the way and I decided I wanted to be *THAT* fan for my husbando.

>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Yes and no. I started out buying fanmade merch because my husbando literally had zero official merch and now he actually has quite a bit. I don't necessarily regret the fanmerch I have, but if I would have known it could have saved me quite a bit of money that could be put towards his official stuff now that I'd rather have.

>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
Being content with how my bags look, honestly. I can never seem to just make a bag and be happy with how it looks. I always feel like it's lacking in something or I haven't made it as nice as it could be.

>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
Bootlegs, easily. I was dumb and bought into them when I first started because I didn't know any better. I didn't realize how much they can hurt companies, especially small brands. I plan on hosting a meetup at a con and I'm dreading seeing all the shitabags that are gonna ruin the group photos. I feel rude for saying it since some people may just still be ignorant to the subject, but I really can't stand bad bags.

>> No.10112506

>>10112074
I think those bags were the recently discontinued Wego bags. You can try Mise pommop bags. They're similar in design but a little more flimsy so you would have to make a stiff insert to hold all your merch anon. Good luck on your search!

>> No.10112755

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I read an article about them a handful a years ago but I saw a really nice bag at a con a few years ago and loved the idea. I was always into like 'merch organization' I love battle jackets and the like.
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
At first I bought bootlegs and didn't buy from yjp so I wasted money at the beginning but I buy merch anyway with my tech job. I'd say $300 but I have also recouped some with profitable box splits and sales.
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I always bought merch anyway, I didn't think I would get as into it as I did.
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Of course! it is one of my favorite hobbies.
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
Grapevineing! or mass button repeats, all my merch is on the rare side so it's about hunting for grails.

>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
First one I can't say but most recent 2 have be someplace between 250 and 300 respectively. Not including base bag.
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
Maybe a hundred cause the bag was small and the character was relatively new but I decided to commission a custom plushie and that tipped me over 200 lol
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Sometimes. Really the only one I don't feel was a waste is an OC bag that started out as a joke for a group but now its the one I put the most love and effort into. Its also my fave because I don't have to fight to the death over charms for it.
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
my holy grail rn is a box set of Halloween Pokemon straps. I've gotten most of my big ticket items. I've gotten in a habit of getting custom items since they feel more personal.
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
The gatekeeping should be more aggressive. I know that sounds fucked up but itabagging and pinbagging should be treated explicitly different. The hand holding babying shit needs to end for people who go "its supposed to be stuff you like UwU" Get fucked. I love the passion that goes into itabags but the pin bags that people keep shoving in the tags cheapen the feeling and love put into the hobby. Its irritating and the lax handling of them makes me not want to socialize.

Anon even with proxy fees and shipping you'll probably spend less buying direct from the source vs buying from them. I inquired about a bag of theirs at a con on a whim and they told me it was $90.

I imported it with some other stuff instead and the bag itself was like, $25-30 IIRC? Even with the repackaging fee for all my stuff ($15) and EMS shipping for the bag + all my shit, I STILL came out paying less than I would've for that one bag from IP.

I guess $100? I went over it fast though.
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Yes, I've always liked collecting so it's never been a regretful decision. I've sometimes not liked items I've gotten and sold them or realised a bag is not meant to be but thats about it.
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
Eve Santaclaus bag, Im@s prices are whack at the minute so I;m not touching it.
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
That this hobby is a race and your bag needs to be completed asap.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
I kept seeing really nice ones online and started lurking this thread. Realized that I was already buying a ton of keychains and stuff for my wife so I might as well do something with them. Discovered it's a really good creative outlet.
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
I want to saaay between $200 and $350?
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I didn't plan it at all since I already more or less had enough to fill a bag just from stuff I'd been collecting.
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
For me, yes, because I was going to buy this stuff anyway and it's really fun and relaxing for me to lay it all out and actually be able to show off how much I love these things. Financially it's probably not but well I could be spending money on the doll hobby like I was and that's definitely worse in the long run.
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I don't really have any ideal set up right now!
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?

A friend of mine was into it and she dragged me down with her.
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
depends on which bag. I've got five bags currently, ranging from ~$200 to ~$900, not accounting for bases.
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I don't really have an overall "how much this bag will cost me" plan so much as a budget I'm willing to spend on merch in any given month. It costs whatever it costs and if I have to build it slower because it's more expensive, so be it.
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Probably not, but I have fun.
>What's your dream itabag setup (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I'd like to be one of those people with a dozen bags of their character, so decked out they look like a mecha. Just so long as the bags are actually good bags, not just a dozen half-empty bags for the sake of saying I have a dozen bags.
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
Seconding however many people said we need to be more willing to explicitly gatekeep. Also, whoever convinced the bandwagon baggers that fairy lights are a great addition to every bag needs to be brought to trial.

>What got you involved in itabagging?
A few friends of mine got into it and I thought the idea of having a mini portable shrine for your fave was really cute, so I started collecting for my best girl to show my love for her since she's not that popular
>How much did your itabag cost you in total?
I honestly don't know at this point, I haven't kept very good track of my spending habits since I started collecting, but for my main best girl bag I'd guess around $600-$800
>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
I didn't really have a starting plan or limit on how much I could spend, I'd just buy a charm whenever I found one I didn't already have
>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Kind of, if the hobby was just a lil bit cheaper I'd probably say it's worth every penny, but because of just how much some things cost I do get a lil buyers remorse, but very rarely
>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
Ideally I want a bag that has one of every official rubber strap, acrylic charm, button badge, etc. in it, but since they don't really make that much merch for the character anymore it's gonna be a long journey to find everything, especially a lot of the early release stuff. My second big project that I'm planning to do a bag that only has the character in her Bokutachi Wa Hitotsu No Hikari outfit since one of my favorite plushies of all time is the ichiban kuji BokuHika plush and I really want to make a bag that shows off how cute they are
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
Probably the elitism, some people act like because they design their bag in a specific way/spend X times more money than this other person/prefer one type of merch over another it suddenly means they're the goddamn itabag queen and everyone else is below them

Not ayrt but I don't think it's pessimistic? They spent 3000 on their husband so they're dedicated and they clearly understand this is a luxury hobby for expendable income (which facebook doesn't understand). But thinks they could have saved money by actually going to Japan and buying it in person instead of the tax they got hit with.

That's actually the best thing to do imho and I can see why they regret it. You get a holiday and you're not stuck with the second hand market, import costs and proxy fees. If I'd spent that much I could have bought a small car. They're not wrong, is it really worth spending that much money on badges and acrylics?

Idk man they don't sound pessimistic to me, they sound like someone who's been doing this a long time and has their head screwed on properly. (Those bags are shit though I agree, fucking OP)

Definitely! I’ve fixed up that first bag and have come so far with it. And now itabagging is one of my favorite hobbies.

I got ahold of a few holy grail charms and I’m so happy about it! I also made a couple dream bags as well. Though in the future I would love to make a sailor moon bag featuring her lockets, wands, and mainly usagi merch (of course).
>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
I guess just more of an offline community like other people have said? It seems like a huge chunk of people in the west haven’t quite gotten a grasp on bagging and so many people at cons have bags with hot topic pins and think it counts. I want more irl friends to bond over bags with!

Apologizes for the idiotic questions, but what makes those bags so bad? I'm trying to avoid the same mistakes with mine, whatever they may be.

Off of what I can tell is wrong, the background fabric clashes, the merch is sporadic with little to no theme, merch is overall messily arranged and the base bag doesn't seem appropriate for some of the characters. Or am I missing something else?

I'm typing this based on my circumstances and experiences. I stayed for a week, was mainly looking for one series, and bought some nostalgia stuff on the side. I went to Mandarake, KBooks, Surugaya, and Lashinbang in Ikebukuro and KBooks in Osaka, where I found my biggest haul. My total baggable merch haul was around 30 items. Didn't find any of my grails or older event merchandise during that trip. I don't believe $3000 in airplane rides was worth what I bought.
Merchandise gets released over time and secondhand store stock changes over time too. IMO you're wasting your trip if you only go out to check up secondhand store stocks every day. Depending on what franchise you bag for, you either run the risk of missing out on merch when you get there or getting hit with character tax that varies from store to store. I've found a badge in-store for 3,000 yen while it was 1,200 yen online at another.
I don't get paid vacations, so on top of room, food, and transportation, it really would have not been worth it if I went there just to merch hunt. Emphasis on merch hunting being the only activity. However, that was not the main point of my trip, so I enjoyed my stay and felt like I got my money's worth in the end.
TL;DR Don't go to Japan just to fill your itabag. Have other activities on your itinerary.
Fate and idol fans aside because I was just fucking slammed with rows and rows of merch for those series. And MHA.

I'm so sick of buyers ghosting me when I let them know how much I want for an item. If a badge is limited edition from an event and a character with high character tax then if course it's going to be expensive.

It's not like you don't have a personal relationship with the buyer. It's not ideal, but it's easy to understand why people disappear when they're not able to complete a sale. If a buyer stops talking to you, assume the sale has been dropped and open it up for the next buyer. Rarely a vanishing buyer will respond super late with "I'm so sorry I was busy" or "I forgot", but in my experience it almost never leads to the completion of the sale. Just accept that most people are selfish and cowardly and move on.

Probably the same rules for handmade everywhere applies -- it should look good enough that people don't immediately smell craftmom vibes a mile away, and all the usual thing about the bag not being too crowded/sparse, looks unified, suits the character, etc etc still applies -- aesthetics can't be suspended just because you decided to sew it up in your house instead of a factory.

Once you hit that sweet spot where everything is nicely put together, there's nothing for anyone to complain about, so there won't be any negativity.

The bags themselves were never official merch, so that's not something people can complain about either, it makes no difference whether you put your pins in a bag from Wego or your own homemade (so long as you're not making a natty knockoff of Wego).

I have one planned but I'm looking to get some experience sewing up some giveaway simple tote bags before I actually start on the actual itabag. I'd say the ones you see looking messed up just jumped into the project without enough skills, design sense or have the wrong materials, and I'm looking to avoid these problems by testing other unimportant bags first. If your bag is really unusual and complicated you might want to test it slowly to see if it's even feasible at all.

I have a bit of admiration for handmade bags because vinyl is a bitch. I was tempted to make my own because I was getting progressively picky about a base bag, but I ended up finding a suitable one eventually.

Hey anons, does anyone happen to have any bags saved with a focus on acrylic pieces? I know people focus on buttons and rubber straps in bag layouts, but I've managed to accumulated a lot of acrylics and am really stumped on how to make a nice layout with them. And I get nervous about having them overlap out of fear of them scratching against one another- or am I just being fussy?

>> No.10119315

>>10119307
You're not being fussy. I never have acrylics overlap, as they will scratch eventually. Even if you resin dome them, scratches may still form. You can cover each acrylic with clear vinyl, but I personally think that looks bad as it isn't as fitted as a round badge cover looks. I only put rubber pieces on top of acrylics, if I must overlap. I've paid too much for some of my items and they are rare, so I'd rather not damage them. But then again, I could be the fussy one.

>> No.10119331

>>10118911
Same, I think most of this comes down to repeat bags being easier to do in Japan since it's way easier to find repeat merch there but it just limits creativity in my opinion. If you're gonna have a bag with a lot of repeats it looks a lot more impressive and beautiful when it's like this >>10119022

>> No.10119373

>>10119307
Not being fussy. The problem with acrylics is the sound of them clashing/jingling together, which also adds onto the risk of scratching.

If worried about scratches- You could do the DIY Charm Protector using: plastic cover/clear vinyl hair straightener. It's under the GoodsRepublic tutorial section in the FAQ.

Best of luck to you, anon

This is a joke right? Co-Kan is the bigger of the two evils because they take other people's branded products and call them their own, they've even said in tweets and facebook posts that they designed the bags themselves when they're the first results on taobao. Itabag Palace doesn't, it's at least honest with you when it scalps. I actually met itabag palace's owners at a recent con and while I don't agree with their prices for literal shit and bootlegs but they're nicer people. They know they're scalping but they understand that actually they don't make as many sales as people think and the only way they can make any profit at conventions is by marking things up (you gotta take into consideration how expensive a huge booth like that can come to). It's not nice, but it's business.

We've been over co-kan a million times, it's not only a shady business but it's run by some of the most vile people you can imagine. They are confirmed pedophiles who's idea of any kind of constructive criticism or call out is "hur hur let's post a shota comic that'll show em!" They are absolutely disgusting human beings and by supporting them in any way not only are you condoning their appaling behavior but you're supporting their scalping, design theft and all sorts of shit. I can't believe you actually came in and defended them. Co-kan is in this purely to make money off other people, they don't care about you, they don't care about the companies they steal from (surprisingly even taobao shops can have their own brands ala berry q for example). They're exploiting young people in more ways than one.

The girls they get to run the booths sometimes are usually nice, but the actual owners are awful. They're pretty infamous in the male idol group scene (particularly in the Ensemble Stars fandom) for grooming and forcing their ships on to cosplayers who don't want any part of it. >>What got you involved in itabagging?
I first noticed the trend in 2015, and since I have a habit of collecting fanart merch and I was running out of wall space for prints I figured I might as well

>>How much did you estimate/plan on spending when you first started the bag?
ngl I don't keep track. And I kind of don't want to know.
>>Do you feel like it's worth it?
Honestly, I have one bag I regret that's 100% dedicated official merch but it was more of a misguided sense of duty to buy only official, and I actually regret it because I enjoy the puzzle solving of trying to fit in fanmerch, and the proxy fees bought me no joy. Everything else is okay because there's barely any official merch/I actually hate the official artstyle. Probably makes me a bad fan.
>>What's your dream itabag set up (holy grail charms, how you'd arrange them, holy grail bag etc.)
I wish more artists made cohesive fandom sets so I could have perfect symmetry...
>>If you could change one thing about the scene surrounding itabagging what would it be?
As a fanmerch bagger/pin collector I actually welcome fanart pins, but also I hate how prevalent ripped artwork for them have become. Might as well buy Chinese bootlegs at that point.
Also hard agree with these "itabags" with the tiny ass windows which are really for pins. Just get locking backs, pins are shiny and don't need to be displayed behind a sheet of vinyl.

Way before itabags were a thing, normie fashion had clear or transparent bags. I'd say you're fine just playing it off as a normal bag if you're not interested in making an itabag.

The usual issue is that whatever you put in your window will be on display to the world (which is why the clear bags were popular, it's a way to show off how cool and head of the fashion curve you are, while also showing off what brand name your handphone, wallet and accessories are). So I guess think about what you want to put in there, since everyone can see it and will probably judge you if they see your dirty underwear. Or do like anon says and put a folder or something else in there to cover it up instead.

I've done it before a couple times but I always feel guilty about it. Yeah, we know this board is mostly girls. That's why you integrate and don't point out that you're male.

I think light grey would be fine. If you want something dark so the merch stands out, make your insert a darker colour.

If you want the bag to be for both of them, then you need more Ruuko merch. Right now, it looks like her two pieces are just there to fill space.

The doki doki thing is dumb. Remove it. It has nothing to do with her character. If you want some some cutesy pins, get some that spell out batoru or something that's actually relevant.

To generally answer your question, that’s why. You want the bag to reflect the character, so adding random stuff even if it’s cute doesn’t really work toward that goal, and might misrepresent the character. I actually have allot of merch, trying to fit everything I want is more of an issue than not enough. It's less "for both of them" as in I wouldn't want it 50/50 than she is a necessity for Tama. I have a larger acrylic chibi that matches tama (pic related) I could use to balance it? I would just need to find space for the LOSTORAGE acrylic as I love that art. I understand what youare saying though.
As for doki >>10132608 I didn't see it as being unrelated any more than say ribbons or flowers or other things I was seeing in bags, as it's not a character from a dif show or something. If I found Z Z Z I'll use that instead or remove it for some extra Ruu items.

If the bag isn't meant for both of them with a shared amount of merch, it just looks like the Ruuko stuff is haphazardly thrown in, and it looks bad.

Fair enough, I had a board backing which I slid and I thought youd at least be able to see part of it haha but I'll definitely take them out though.

Then why not put all Kageyama on the left side and all Tsukki on the right side?
The bag would look terrible if you mixed them all up.

if you want them looking away from each other then just swap the two badges at the top? it'd look so much better.

Also agreeing with other anon boy i didnt even see the two badges in the bottom corners lol

Source on this base bag? Looks super nice and would be pretty good for the Abbacchio bag I'm just starting. Jojo slapped me in the face and dragged me back down again after years.

Hey anons, have any of yours seen the michiko cat bag decorated? I'm having a block on how to decorate mine. Pic is kinda how I want to arrange merch but I'm not convinced of it. Please, I'm fool for getting this base but I actually liked the pink on it for my boy.

And another question, I have seen some yellowish on my metallic keychain. Is there a way to remove it?

basically I mentioned it here >>10135458
so I may just swap the sides and take out the green/pink ones.

Best tips for displaying omanjuu in a bag? /Should/ omanjuu be displayed in a bag? I have quite a few of them, and I'm worried that they'll deflate. One of my friends stuck hers in the bottom of her bag, and it deflated, so I was wondering if there was a proper way of putting them in/on a bag or if they should be completely left out.

Any backpack recommendations for a small itabag? I really only need it to fit a water bottle, power bank, cables, and maybe a small towel

Oh my god, I've never seen an omanjuu deflate. Do you have any photos, I am morbidly curious now. I've never had issues putting my omanjuus in bags, but I also use bags like the box wego ones which are deeper set and designed to showcase plushies and such.

While I agree that the bag is a bit cramped i really like your little collection here anon! Very cute with all the matching merch. I like heart bags too but i would love to see a bigger ita bag to fit all this merch! I hate when couple bags dont have matching merch because it's so obvious that they look better when they do. I hope i could do a matching bag like this one day!

Thank you! I definitely want to do a lot more with it so I'm glad I got more feedback before rushing in to add to it.

This is actually the second bag I've made for this pair. I think I posted it a few threads back! I prefer the symmetry type organisation but I feel like I'm still struggling to get something I like, whereas with the small heart window it was easier to manage a smaller space.

Come on man someone just said the maker a few posts up jfc

I'm thinking of upgrading to an A3 bag and I know zakka happen to be some of the nicest quality with some cute designs, but the price tag is hefty. Any anons own one who'd be willing to give some deets on what it's like building in one? I've heard the windows are really shallow so rosettes would be out of the question

HypMic auctions probably went higher because there was a manga update recently. Still, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. I can't wait until the mobile game comes out so everyone will spend money on that instead of all that. I just want my bag, dammit

honestly I like the look of small bags and/or shame cubes attached to the side of the bag. Zakkamart has a really cute plush bag. Depending on how many you have though, you might just want to grab a bag with a deeper window, like >>10136031
mentioned.

I haven't seen anything about the game other than that it's expected to release sometime this year. They've been pretty focused on the manga lately, but I expect they'll be giving more info once the next battle season starts.

A HypMic merch strategy might be to just wait until new battle seasons start to get the merch from the old battle season. Maybe sellers will lower the price of Warx3/Battlex3/Death Respect goods in order to more easily get rid of them once KR starts making new match-ups.

>> No.10136304

It kind of depends what bag you're looking at. I have an A3 with a zippered-window and while it's not deep enough to place say, a plushie, it could easily fit a rosette. I have flowers in mine with not as much squishing as I expected.

As far as ones with a "top-loader" layout go, you could still fit something like a rosette as long as you are very careful placing it in. Those tend to have their own insert flap included, but I don't personally like it and I don't think I've ever seen anyone else ever use it. Putting in your own insert can be a test of will, but it's usually very nice and tidy once it's in and secured. I've had good luck with zakka in general and find it pretty worth the price.

Selling singular items will get you more per but shipping lots is less of a pain in the ass. Also depending on who you're trying to sell anons here can bite before you get something on fb,
