How about me? Right now I'm a bit stressed/concerned, about my body type and cosplay goals (All Might is my main goal). I've been bulking up and lifting much heavier than usual the past few months - but its extremely tough to put on visible muscle mass when you're as tall as I am...put on 30 pounds so far, gonna cut back some fat soon before bulking a second time. Do you think I am/could be big enough to pull off All Might? I have 8 months to go before my next big con.

Yeah Okabe would be fun, especially given my boisterous/animated personality...now that I think about it I may be too big now...although muscles aren't too hard to hide under a lab coat. Here's a progress pic of me, before and after my fall/winter bulk. Before the bulk I think he'd have been a better pick for me, but I might still try.

I think you’re knocking the idea of padding a bit too much. You’re buff and tall so you’ll be a good All Might, great even - but padding would probably help you look amazing, because no matter how ripped you get you’re not a cartoon man and can’t have cartoon man muscles. It’s not like you have to go ham on padding either, just some subtle sculpting here or there to make your proportions more anime like will go miles.

Sinse you're looking to try making armor, I'm always inclined to suggest Wonder Woman.
If armor is something you're just getting into, maybe not something quite as cumbersome as WW. Deedlit from "Record of Lodoss War" and Darkness from "Konosuba" I think hit that sweet spot where the armor is the main focus of the cosplay, while not making up the majority of it.

I've seen smaller people do All Might well, and you'd be the best. If you want it, go for it. You can use some extra padding if you'd like, but frankly, from your pictures, I think you look good as is.
If you're looking for more built bigass characters, JoJo is the way to go-go. I think you'd make a great Joseph Joestar (young version or old version).

Based on you comments, I'd suggest buying a cosplay to start out and work your skills up from wig styling, minor premade clothing alterations / thrift flipping, and/or prop making. That's going to be the most cost effective options. Secondly, you can take your glasses off for pictures, or buy prescription color contacts (some are as low as $15). Unless you're buying premade, I'd absolutely recommend staying away from Jojo cosplays as they're notoriously difficult to make. That being said... Astolfo meets your needs but Narancia would look best. Otherwise: Kitamura from Toradora

So my first immediate, knee-jerk response is that you remind me SO much of one of my favorite actors, Byung-Hun Lee. You’ve got that same mix of suave and ripped that he does, and you’re about the same height, so you could EASILY pull off any character that he’s ever done. Beyond that, though, I could see you doing a ton of the suave or smug action anime guys or sports anime pretty boys - from Free! to BNHA, there are so many characters you could pull off.
