I honestly think lolitas looks so much better individually than in groups. Something about the scale and the clashing colors just looks off, and if there’s one ita or fatty it brings the whole group down. That’s one of the reasons I stopped bothering with comms.

I can say for myself that I don't see lolitas going on about their daily lives because I AM that lolita. Seeing pics of lolitas in "daily" situations inspires me and makes me feel that I might look even half as cute when I'm out and about.

I myself wear lolita when I'm going out on my days off, doesn't matter if I'm just running errands or specifically going out for a nice day shopping/ a cinema/ exhibit ect.
The majority of the people in comms where I am seem to only specifically wear lolita for meetups, conventions and big lolita events,
So it's just nice and comforting to see other lolitas going about their daily lives as well, because I never see it irl except for myself- I know it'd be extremely unlikely to cross paths with another lolita anyway but I've genuinely never seen another lolita going about their daily life when I've been out and about.

I wear lolita every time I go out, be it shopping or to the bank/grocery store/etc. I have never run into another lolita, but it would be so nice to see, and considering a lot of public reactions I get, a vast majority of people feel the same, even if they don't know of the fashion.
