I actually love raschel lace, but on less busy prints. I hate that ages ago on LJ people told everyone that raschel lace was inherently ita. Some raschel lace beyond amazing, in both quality and look, especially a lot from Meta. But people had it drilled into their heads that raschel is inherently ita and a marker for a bad quality piece. It's honestly hard to tell in pictures the quality of raschel lace, so it's understandable, especially since a lot of cheap "lolita" pieces use it since, well, it's cheap (thanks milanoo). Either way, raschel lace may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it doesn't mean it's ita or bad.
