I have the Aurora&Ariel A-line petticoat, ordered from last year. It's incredibly poofy. It's perfect for heavier dresses like my Meta pintuck JSK, it really gives a full body flare to the skirt. Unfortunately, it does make my casual IW dresses look overstuffed.

I'm honestly a little scared of the poof, I don't wear it on the days I take public transit because of the space I take up in it. It's either the 12m or the 16m petti, but I can't remember which. All I know is that I wish I had bought the 8m to go with my IW stuff.

Another thing to note is that the underskirt that separates skin from the organza is easily wrinkled, but is still very soft and supple to the touch.

I bought a classical puppets cupcake petti a couple of years ago and the fabric on the outer later ripped in two different places along the seams, despite not catching it on anything. I ended up giving it away after repairing it, and noticing the whole seam was pulling - almost like someone had pulled down on that layer before I even got it in the mail

Alright, I got the two petticoats in the mail today. I didn't take pictures, but I will if someone really wants me to.

Starting with the Classical Puppets Cupcake-shaped Petticoat, I'm pleased. I had to let it sit out and shake it a bit for it to reveal its full size. It held up my heavier dresses well, and I would rate the poof medium-high. You can easily wear it by itself, though I'll probably layer it with a small petticoat for the perfect amount of poof.

The Aurora and Ariel A-Line 12m Petticoat isn't
quite what I wanted, but it definitely did what it promised to do. It's extremely poofy. I also wanted to wear it for more casual stuff and sack dresses, but it might just be too much for that (I haven't actually seen how it looks under them though). It holds up heavier dresses well. Even with just this one petti, you'll get a ton of volume in your skirt. But if you only want to wear it with more casual dresses, I would really recommend getting a smaller one.

Comparing the two, the A&A one is a lot bigger. It also feels a little sturdier than the CP one? Only time will tell which one will hold up better, though. What I like more about the CP petti is that it's a lot more versatile, since I can't dress the A&A one down and I can't imagine wanting to add more poof to it.

At the moment, I'm very satisfied. I like the quality that I got for the price and would recommend both of the pettis.

Isn't that how everybody does it? I usually don't get things shipped to me from the warehouse until I've got at least a few orders waiting. My last taobao box was about 8kg and cost approx $60 usd to ship, but there was a lot of stuff in it (multiple dresses, accessories, fabric, wigs, misc). I have one wig from Monkeep, it's very nice but the color is lighter than it was in the listing pictures. Looked like a natural brown black in the pictures but is more of a medium dark brown irl. Was disappointed because it's lighter than my natural hair color. Quality is as good or better than any wig I've gotten from Dreamholic. Better than Vanyar for sure.

Hi, I have successfully bought items from taobao previously by using google translate and online tutorials so now I want to try preordering an item.

I understand in general I will be required pay a deposit first and then the full amount later once the item is in stock, my question is what happens once the item is in stock. Will the process be as simple as the system sending me a notification, I click a link and pay as usual. Or is it gonna be such a hassle (e.g: needing me to remember to check for stock manually or having to communicate with the seller in Chinese) that I should use an agent instead.

The head is actually a Monster High head I commissioned, so is not for sale any longer.

The makeup is okay. Its just like what you would expect from any other handmade Etsy brand. I am allergic to a lot of eyeshadows including higher end stuff (Urban Decay especially) and surprisingly havent reacted to any of the eyeshadows. The super sparkly/ glowy stuff is actually chunky glitter which is surprisingly good too. Dries down really nicely and has a decent amount of smudge resistance. All came packaged in cute containers and boxes too! I spent maybe around $40USD in their shop (some single eyeshdaows not pictured) and they sent me heaps of free samples too!
