I love chatting with fans. It's great to know people like what you post, and I've met some great friends this way.

Some people take it too far though and don't know when they're stepping over boundaries. I try to be friendly with everyone who talks to me, but occasionally this means a random person I just met will trail me and my friends around the con because I don't want to directly tell them to stop. The worst case was when someone did this for hours on all three days of a convention.

I've had that as well, the guy was friends with some other people I know but he liked my cosplay so attached himself to me for half a day, even going to the same events instead of hanging out with his friends. That said, I get why he and the others were mad but her controversy is also old news. She never confirmed the marriage even now.

Even if they don't believe they 'have a chance' the nerd-rage over thinking about their obsession getting a regular dicking by hubs or having to imagine her sucking him off or him touching her would make a lot of them angry. They want to believe she's loveless and lonely and has chosen to only be on the camera with them. Even if they don't 'have her', they have her, sort of?
It's odd and I think it would take a few of them anonymously explaining it for themselves to really understand it better, why they do it, what they get out of watching, interacting with and supporting these women. Obviously it's a phenomenon because these gals are making bank with this type of hustle. I get buying the nudes and lewds, that's always been a thing but her twitch asmr stream was pretty boring. She picked her teeth, her stomach growled, she ate sloppily but not in any kind of sexy way. For the ASMR, she tapped things, made mouth noises and whispered, I did not get any reaction at all and I'm actually susceptible to asmr stimulus. I was watching 30 minutes to see what the fuss was. I was bored.

Unless he has a fetish for it or is there living off her income, I kind of pity her hubs because most of her life is literally streaming for or making content for these guys. The guys in her twitch asmr stream seem to mostly just be lonely losers. They congratulate each other for subbing and welcome new guys in and seem to create a kind of odd, obsessed community.
I was curious so I tuned in. Nothing very provocative in that stream. She's also really bad at asmr but seems to be making about 100-200/hr on her stream alone, not counting Patreon or Snapchat etc.

I've been in the position where I was being followed around a con by someone I had just met. It wasn't a situation where he followed my instagram or whatever though, I was in a maid cafe and he asked me a bit about it. I answered his questions politely and he just like latched on, started following my friends and I around the con, tried to invite himself when he ovetheard my boyfriend and I talking about getting dinner... A lot of these kind of guys aren’t creepers, they just need stronger cues. Often, they are not as socially as well adjusted, and they are also often very lonely.

If after a polite but firm dismissal he still follows, alert con security and clearly explain the situation. That’s a problem.
