Helps when you just got a tick tack with two marbles to hide in the first place. Well, the first version was just a cloth I had wrapped under and around my waist, I didn't wear any speedo or anything and it fell off flashing me to the world. The second I wore a belt and just had a cloth wrapped under and around like a loin cloth but this time I wore a thong underneath. I now have a third version of the costume I have not revealed yet but will next month, It's a work in progress I have also been heavily working on my physic since this last picture I am also in the market for a wammuu and esidisi cosplayer.

It's actually probably just because there's only a small handful of girl character's in jojo's so there's a higher percent of crossplay, combined with the fact that most men that cosplay don't gravitate towards anime characters with unconventional design aspects like pec windows and man skirts (like vento aureo has in spades)
Honestly just try to make your cosplay look good and you'll probably get more attention than a crossplayer that put in the same amount of effort

I have gone to a lot of JoJo cosplay meets over the years and there's much more of a balance of male/female cosplays there irl, especially with the earlier parts.

If you do a good job with the costume, makeup and wig you'll definitely stand out (though this is true of any cosplay in general). Female JoJo cosplayers tend to focus on these aspects more than most male ones imho which is why you'll see more pics online of them overall. Like >>10070601 said you'll probably get more attention for a well done Joseph or Jotaro for example than a crossplayer could achieve due to body structure.
