He literally just bought a butted mail coif, a cloak and a tabard which are probably cotton.
When he wants to dress up as a teutonic knight he should better look up what they wore at that time, which means searching the web for literature or reenactor groups who show their equipment.
Or if he doesn't want to go historical he could look up some piece of art or a picture from some comic or video game.
But at the moment it just looks lazy and isn't even finshed, otherwise we would see more than just his upper body.
