It's actually not terrible...I'm more insulted by the shit necklace, since it is a family heirloom on the show (so that shit should look nice IRL). But honestly I like the way the face was done save for the mouth. It is what the character looks like. Some people don't like when cosplayers try to translate lineart to real life, I'm on the fence about it but in this case I do think it was mostly done well. I'm really just happy to see a Princess Caroline that had any effort whatsoever put in. The pink paint looks pretty even/nicely done.

Jeez, a better shaped wig would have made her head proportioned better. Actual hand lain prosthetic hair would have made her chin pop. The contouring is too sharp, but you're right in that there's only so much you can do with that, but you can trick the eye with proportions if you don't mess up the wig... I do bara guy costumes and I am not kidding myself that I look anything like them, but I try to play with these visual tricks to my advantage. Faceup is removeable -- if you used the right stuff. We have no idea what this person uses that dries white instead of clear, or if it's removeable or permanent. Hopefully this wasn't an idiot who painted things on with oil paint for whatever weird reason.
