If you look at the new IW releases mentioned in the thread for example, 95 bust and 72 waist isn't exactly what I'd call petite. I have both. Dragon Chan is far better. Gold details stand out more and you don't have any fears of it falling off. Not that KL has fallen off for me, but their skirt much less vibrant and crisp than Dragon Chan when you compare the two. The velvet is also seems to be higher quality. The design is also really neat, and features two loops in the bustle back to seamlessly incorporate the sash. Idk I like it a lot and can't wait to wear it to an event.

I've handwashed my flocked Moitie in cold water, and only had a problem with the flocking on one dress because I got way too rough (it was so dirty the water turned amber ffs). Friction is likely to be more damaging than water, so after that skirt I switched from swishing it around to dunking and soaking. Seems to have done fine. Do a patch test for sure though, and I can't attest to how the flocky holds up long term.

Has anyone had to deal with weight gain due to medication? I take antidepressants and not only do they do absolutely nothing for me, they made me put on weight. The worst part is that, since I'm still "skinny" and small, nobody cares that my stomach sticks out bigger than my boobs and that I cant fit into my favorite pants anymore. And because I'm in my mid 20's I get told that it's my metabolism starting to slow down and not the meds. And my only "real" lolita blouse is now too small for me in the arms as well, though I never noticed my arms looking bigger.

I’m in the same boat anon, I’m still conventionally skinny but my belly has gotten larger than I’d like and I’m pretty sure it was due to some mood stabilisers I was on that did jack shit. If the meds aren’t working you gotta be belligerent with ur doc, mine kept prescribing me different doses of the same drug and then different drugs in the same family and wouldn’t listen to my complaints that they weren’t working and were making me super drowsy and because of that I couldn’t get anything done. Finally got fed up and went to a different doc who prescribed me different drugs that don’t knock me out and i’ve stopped gaining weight. If there’s a university in your city or near by you could probably get in with the psychiatric nurse practitioners, they’re usually younger and since they’re still in school super afraid to fuck up. Not like some old fart who’s had his degree for 15 years and thinks nothing has changed in those years. Hope things get better!

I can’t say if they actually aren’t doing anything but they do take about s month to do anything. So do keep it up, there isn’t a way to go about trying meds besides trying it out.

As for weight gain, if your bmi is low then you clearly aren’t fat. Some of this will be normal aging related and getting off meds won’t ungain what you have. Look at your diet and exercise choices before using meds as an excuse. Ultimately if the meds you end up on work but it means you gain some weight you will need to work on your body to maintain the ideal you have. Also talk to a therapist about your body issues.

5cm isn't enough for coats, I'd recommend 8-10cm if not a bit more for a comfortable fit, especially since lolita coats tend to be quite heavy.
What do you mean by functionality? If you mean a coat that'll keep you warm, that highly depends on your local climate and how cold it gets. My IW coat keeps me perfectly warm even if I only wear a short sleeved OP under it, but my local climate isn't too cold and I have a somewhat high tolerance for cold weather, so it really depends.

AaTP, some AP coats, and VM have all released coats with a wool blend. Wool will keep you warm but it's not waterproof so don't go romping around in a blizzard because it will get wet, and you will be uncomfortable.

Most brand coats are roomier than OPs with busts/waists a good 5-10 cm larger than median dress OP measurements. Just check measurements before you buy.

Yep, was on Celexa for around 2-3 years. I went from 104 to 135 lbs (didn't help that I also started BC, got a receptionist job that mostly involved sitting, etc.) but I brought it up with my doctor who said that it's pretty common for Celexa to cause weight gain. Switched to Prozac and was down to 125 pretty soon after. If you're gaining weight and feeling like your meds aren't doing anything, definitely reach out to your doctor. But I understand - I was the same size for most of my adult life and the feeling of not being able to fit into any of my regular clothes really sucked.

Has anyone noticed a theme in their wardrobe that isn't immediately noticeable? For example, I recently updated my main piece spreadsheet with the dates of each piece (or as many as lolibrary had on there) and I noticed the majority of my dresses were from 2014. My wardrobe has all three substyles within it, and has zero cohesiveness or loyalty to a particular brand, so I thought my tastes were all over the place.
