Regardless of Physical Drop's regular sizing, most brands have been steadily getting bigger. AP, Moitie, even Innocent World like you mentioned isn't good for small measurements anymore. If you look at the new IW releases mentioned in the thread for example, 95 bust and 72 waist isn't exactly what I'd call petite. Sure, "huge" sizes are still out of the norm, but for actually petite girls there's not much out there anymore if they're looking for new releases.

I have both. Dragon Chan is far better. Gold details stand out more and you don't have any fears of it falling off. Not that KL has fallen off for me, but their skirt much less vibrant and crisp than Dragon Chan when you compare the two. The velvet is also seems to be higher quality. The design is also really neat, and features two loops in the bustle back to seamlessly incorporate the sash. Idk I like it a lot and can't wait to wear it to an event.

Gotta disagree. This isn't bad in a "Bodyline is cheap" sort of way, this is bad in a "who took mushrooms and thought this was a good idea?" sort of way.

I dislike it, but it's so weird and funky and out there. I kind of have to give the AP team props for doing it. Or taking enough mushrooms to do it. Da fuq is this weird shit, it's fascinating.

>>10005539

I think the "cougar" image is why it became popular with the gyarus at one point. Lolita brands have been trying "do" leopard prints since then. Meta has some of the saner gyaru-inspired lolita dresses, if that's more your thing.

This is just so weird-looking I'm strangely fascinated by it.

How do you think they know about these tags? There are ways to see which words are commonly associated with each other online. They don't care what sweet lolita is, and they don't know actual lolita brands have released animal ears. Those tags are suggested to them to reach more people who might be interested in their products. It's because we still use lolita instead of a Japanese word or different term that has no association with any fetish. Every time we mention ageplay and other kinks on cgl and other places for lolita fashion we make it worse.

If they simply tagged this #lolita then that would be a valid claim but they very clearly used tags relating to jfashion for their fetish bullshit so if anything it means they're trying to reach as many people as possible, which wouldn't be a bad thing in itself if they weren't selling shit meant to be used for sex. They tagged it #kawaiifashion and even #cosplay, if lolita fashion was called something else then they'd use that too.
TL;DR: The name of the fashion isn't the issue, retard.

Words can and do have different meanings, anon-chan, if you're in this subculture you would know this but you insist on being a retard.
The problem isn't our names or terms or tags, it's our attitude, we've gone soft and mushy and terrified of being perceived as "bitches" so assholes like this walk all over us and use our tags and content to get off and get attention. The lolita poof already ensures anything on coffee table height will get knocked off by our skirts, nevermind that our frills probably snag on all sorts of doorknobs and table corners. You're asking why some brands use a fabric that looks gorgeous but is difficult to care for?

Sweat will stain silks and yet silk is still the most highly coveted fabric.

Fashion's just not a hobby where you pick the most useful thing to use, instead of the decorative peacock that you have to baby and treat carefully.

>> No.10006236

>>10006071

One the one hand, ouch. That sounds painful, to see a beautiful dress degraded like that.

On the other hand, I feel like if you've decided to sell it to her, then you should already know what her dress style is like and whether she has a propensity towards cheap plastic costumey things or will do it justice... I think if it was that important then maybe the dress should just have been quietly sold off to someone else rather than your friend in the first place.

On the third hand. If she really loves the dress and is happy to own it, maybe you can take comfort in that? She might not look the way you think the dress should look but at least you've made her day letting her own the dress. Surely making her happy is worth some good feelings to balance out the pain of seeing the dress coorded weirdly.

Has anyone had to deal with weight gain due to medication? I take antidepressants and not only do they do absolutely nothing for me, they made me put on weight. Finally got fed up and went to a different doc who prescribed me different drugs that don’t knock me out and i’ve stopped gaining weight. If there’s a university in your city or near by you could probably get in with the psychiatric nurse practitioners, they’re usually younger and since they’re still in school super afraid to fuck up. I can’t say if they actually aren’t doing anything but they do take about s month to do anything. So do keep it up, there isn’t a way to go about trying meds besides trying it out.

As for weight gain, if your bmi is low then you clearly aren’t fat. Some of this will be normal aging related and getting off meds won’t ungain what you have. Look at your diet and exercise choices before using meds as an excuse. Ultimately if the meds you end up on work but it means you gain some weight you will need to work on your body to maintain the ideal you have. Also talk to a therapist about your body issues.

I'd make sure to have decent auction links showing successful auctions or actual bidwars over them and not just a list of expensive dresses, though. 5cm isn't enough for coats, I'd recommend 8-10cm if not a bit more for a comfortable fit, especially since lolita coats tend to be quite heavy.
What do you mean by functionality? If you mean a coat that'll keep you warm, that highly depends on your local climate and how cold it gets. AaTP, some AP coats, and VM have all released coats with a wool blend. Wool will keep you warm but it's not waterproof so don't go romping around in a blizzard because it will get wet, and you will be uncomfortable.

Most brand coats are roomier than OPs with busts/waists a good 5-10 cm larger than median dress OP measurements. Just check measurements before you buy.

>>10006732
Weight can't really determine if a coat will fit or not. I'm 109 lbs but have an 88 cm bust, so some VM coats are too small for me.

I also fear that the fabric of this coat >>10005694 will be similar to the Rosalie Coat. So real wool, but kinda thin. >we still use lolita instead of a Japanese word
But the Japanese use lolita? Would be kinda odd to use a Japanese word in Western comm while the Japanese don't use it, don't you think? Maybe, just maybe, little random thought, but maybe people need to learn to understand synonyms exist? You know, one word having multiple meanings that have nothing to do with each other?

Beside, I didn't even know this book existed until I saw people online complaining. Seems a very American thing to attach it to pedo fetishist. Maybe Americans should learn there are other cultures in the world that use words they know in other ways than them, especially when those words are from literature from other countries. Like how lolita is a womans name from more people than a girl in a book. Many seems very stuborn in their "I think this, so this is truth and nothing else can be truth" way of thinking.

>>10005988

I went from 104 to 135 lbs (didn't help that I also started BC, got a receptionist job that mostly involved sitting, etc.) but I brought it up with my doctor who said that it's pretty common for Celexa to cause weight gain. Switched to Prozac and was down to 125 pretty soon after. If you're gaining weight and feeling like your meds aren't doing anything, definitely reach out to your doctor. I love sleeping garden and green moitie is beautiful, but the green in the stock photos looks like some fallout 3 disaster. If it's some obnoxiously vibrant/radioactive looking green I won't get it, I'm hoping it's more subdued/dimmer.

Has anyone noticed a theme in their wardrobe that isn't immediately noticeable? For example, I recently updated my main piece spreadsheet with the dates of each piece (or as many as lolibrary had on there) and I noticed the majority of my dresses were from 2014. My wardrobe has all three substyles within it, and has zero cohesiveness or loyalty to a particular brand, so I thought my tastes were all over the place. Looking at it now, I'm noticing more and more similarities, but ones that someone else probably wouldn't notice unless they really cared to.

Sorry to be lengthy, but you get the gist.

I think this is accurate for the colour. Size wise this is full back shirring so it isn’t comparable to anything released this year besides sleeping garden itself. The only ads I've seen previously are lolita-related. I have tracking cookies blocked on all sites unless I approve them.
