Dream dresses don't have to be expensive, it depends on what they are since some pieces and brands are more coveted and difficult to find than others. Either way, the excitement you often see in dream dress threads is genuine, finding and buying a dress you dreamed about for a long time is pretty satisfying.

Le not at all men meme.

In all honesty though, lots of guys want to do more than just fuck. Might try looking into getting more normie friends funnily enough. As you're (hopefully) not underage normies are easily getting past the "I want to fuck everything" stage and growing into a mature well-rounded adult.

Contrary to a lot of nerds who still haven't had a shag and are dying to explore that world.

Are you 16?

And I'm not saying they don't want a shag, I'm saying it's not about. They might scream it is like that to look cool to their bros, but it usually isn't.

My Korean language professor found out I wore lolita and insisted I wear it to their Korean heritage night. I didn't want to because 1) it's a Korean heritage night and 2) I don't want to make a spectacle of myself. I have to volunteer for the event and she is repeatedly sending me emails bullying me into wearing what she calls "princess costumes" to amuse and entertain the children. I've explained to her time and time again that they aren't princess costumes and they're not to entertain children, it's a genuine hobby. This morning, I received an email telling me that she talked it over with the other staff of the event and that they don't care if it's offensive, it will make the children happy and that they expect to see a princess there tomorrow. I seriously want to scream because I'm not some sort of Disney party princess and I'm not a clown for hire. I find it really inappropriate that she's emailed me several times trying to harass me into wearing expensive clothing to entertain children. On top of that, she wants me to face paint which is already dangerous enough in terms of spilling. I have no idea how to get out of this and the more I think about how she insists they're princess costumes for children, the angrier I get.

Volunteer isn't the right word. I'm forced to volunteer for class credit. We have to have 8 hours of volunteering for Korean events to pass. She literally CC'd me on the email to every staff member and I had to email them all back to tell them that I wouldn't be wearing it. It just seems ridiculous that, of all the other dozens of students attending this, she's choosing to single me out.

If you really really don't want to disappoint your professor by not going you could purchase the most atrocious milanoo monstrocity for like 10 bucks and wear it. No normie would care and if she does notice it's bad quality just tell her this was what came up when you searched ebay for "princess costume" and you tried your best to make her happy.

>how hard is it to just eat when you feel hungry and stop when you don't?
well some people have their sense of hunger messed up by constant grazing for years or being overweight. Relying on the "just eat when you're hungry" only works when you're clearly able to recognise when you're actually hungry and not just feeling like you want to munch on something out of habit. It's easy and natural for people who've always had good eating habits and discipline, but might not be that way for others, so it's not a guideline that works for everyone.

Also if one's gotten accustomed to comfort eating etc it can be hard to stick to a healthy diet, especially if one was brought up in a shit home that instilled unhealthy food habits in them.

However in general, yeah, just eating a) less and b) healthier isn't that impossible at all

So if her teacher asks her to bark like a dog and hop around, she should?

As long as she's doing the volunteer work for the credit, it shouldn't matter if she's wearing the lolita dress or not. She's following what she's supposed to be doing and not bending over backwards for wild requests from the teachers.

The other anons suggesting the cheap dresses had great ideas, and I agree with them. However it turns out, she doesn't have follow through with completely unreasonable requests as the ones her teacher suggested.

I'm not fat (started to gain weight at some point and nipped that shit in the bud tho) and am exercising, but if you don't get that just because staying thin is relatively easy and effortless for you, it's different for people who may never have eaten healthily in their life due to the circumstances they grew up in, you're not very smart.

It's easier to keep following healthy habits you've always had than it is to break out of bad ones and learn completely new, foreign habits. The circumstances you're brought up in affect a lot of stuff, from how you approach books, education, life goals and society to how you approach food. "Normal" depends a whole lot on what sort of parents do you happen to have.

Hey everybody. I ended up emailing her and telling her that my dresses were getting dry cleaned since when I told her I didn't want to do it before, I assumed it was the end of the conversation and sent them to be cleaned. She was upset and asked if I could get one of them back because now the staff expected a princess to show up. I just told her that it wasn't possible and that I'd be happy to wear some of my more decadent Liz Lisa clothes (this I don't mind since I wear Liz Lisa on my off days). She eventually gave up and sent me a defeated, passive aggressive email about how she's disappointed but at least I can still face paint. Whatever. I'm over it now and I'll be glad when I'm out of her class. Thank you all for the support and advice though. Feels good to know I wasn't going crazy thinking she was being a tad bit entitled to say the least.

>durr the key to not being fat is exercising, if only they bothered to exercise a little bit they'd stop being fat

The key to not being fat is controlling what and how much you eat, not exercising. It's very easy to stuff your face with so many calories it'd take several hours daily in the gym, or all day every day, to work that shit off.

Going around telling people retarded shit like "hurr just eat whenever you're hungry till you're not hungry any more, and then just exercise a few times a week for a bit you'll be thin it's easy" is just feeding them misinformation.

You control weight through calorie intake, and muscle tone and general fitness through exercising.
For example, my aunt is one of the more active people I know, yet despite exercising every day she's still fat because she loves to cook and drink wine and puts a lot of cream etc in everything she makes, and on the other hand I myself lost a ton of weight when I broke my leg and was stuck on the sofa at my parents and ate strictly according to their meal schedule, because I couldn't open the fridge or prepare stuff while on crutches.

This is not the same as saying "fat people can't help being fat baaww", obviously they can they just need to eat less. But I'm really sick of the "just start exercising, that'll do it badabing" crap
