I thought it was pretty well understood that CGL is a specific sub-space of lolita fashion and doesn't actually represent the community at large. In general, online spaces are ALWAYS more extreme than the irl spaces they represent, and with few exceptions (ie: wondercunt) very few lolitas behave in such a way publicly.

I was browsing Amazon for cheap socks to wear around the house, and I found some fluffy OTKs and cute pastel colors. I got as far as adding them to my cart before I realised they were from LittleForBig, and for a moment I considered still buying them but I didn't because it made me feel dirty

I honestly kind of hate much of the autism that goes on here. I'm able to get along well with both sides of the spectrum. Some ita's are super nice and I don't dislike them as people. Some folks on cgl have been fairly nice too, all the autism aside. Some of the threads here aren't completely full of autism either, which is why I still often like to lurk here. I just feel kind of bad for some of the ita's who get posted here (not for the DDLG freaks yikes they can gtfo). I also don't want to spend too long at a time here because I've started to notice I'm getting a toxic view of my body. I've been losing weight for a year, far before I lurked cgl, and I'm close to my goal now. I just don't want to finally get to 110 pounds with a 60cm waist and think I'm still fat.

Idk. I think it is a bit of a toxic place at times. But you have to take everything with a grain of salt as well and not be too much of a pussy. Just get on with your life and make good coords lmao.
