Has anyone bought from kaneko shop? Did you liked the quality? Their pieces are quite expensive for me, so I want to hear reviews from others

I tried holding it up with a belt by having a bit of the petit over the top of the belt (sorry for the bad explanation lol) and that def lay flat enough under the dress and held up in the short-term. I'll still order suspenders to see how that works though, thank you guys for helping!

Does anyone else think it’s excessive when lolitas incorporate masks into their coords even though they’re not going to leave their home?

I’m fine when you go out, but you’re not getting COVID from a meetup on Zoom.

How do you know they didn't leave the house. Maybe they got dressed up for a zoom meet up and then went grocery shopping afterwards

Masks were common in jfashion before COVID was a thing, everyone is wearing them more now so of course they may want to wear them with coords. It's just another accessory, don't think too hard about it.

I saw the knight dress (sorry, don't remember the name) in person and it looked really, really cheap. The fabric had the same feeling as a shitty $30 dress I got from Chess Story once. I didn't even bother looking into the construction of it because the fabric was so awful and the cut was so simple that it could've had the best sewing in the world and it wouldn't have been enough to save it.
Shame, I liked that banquet dress they put out but it seems like it's made of the same kind of fabric.

Covid has become the greatest excuse to hide your face using masks. I can never seem to smile like a normal person on photos, so hiding it with cute mask is a nice solution. I know that you can also just put a sticker on your face, but I am often quite pleased with how my eye make-up looks.

Different anon but it sounds like you have a shit therapist, they aren’t suppose to be there to make assumptions and judge you. My therapist saw the clothes as a change in my mood, too depressed couldn’t bring myself to anything fashion related or style my hair and getting better meant bits and bobs of the fashion would be mixed into what I was wearing and being in a good place is a full coord, accessories and style hair because they asked me if the clothes made me happy and my goal was to be back into wearing the fashion full time.

Anyone here ever bought the MeLikesTea Rose petticoat? I like the shape and am thinking of getting a 5 layer voile one cause thensite says voile won't deflate, and was curious if other people like them since I usually only see taobao pettis reccomended here.

>> No.10514216 [View]

>>10509893
Therapists are there in a professional capacity NOT to judge you. Psychiatrists/Psychologists can use their expert opinion to diagnose psychiatric issues such at BP, BPD, etc. but it is their educated opinion and they can/will give supporting evidence.

I've never had a therapist that judged me or my interests and if they did who gives a shit. It's their opinion and only your truth matters, unless you're completely delusional, not you just generally.

MLT is pettis are good, but you can get a Taobao one for way less and it’ll last just as long.

>> No.10514222 [View]

>>10514214
I didn't get the exact one that you're looking at, but MLT petticoats in voile are very nice. I personally prefer their voile petticoats over their organza because it's much more silky to the touch. I don't use my MLT organza petticoat often, but I use my voile ones more often (once a week) and they're still going strong 3 years on, though they did deflate just a little bit. I've never owned an A&A petticoat, so I can't compare, sorry.

Wtf? The way it cuts off like that is so awkward, looks like some Chinese bootleg toy packaging. The thing that made this dress interesting in the first place was the heart belt, I don't understand why they left that out? So disappointing

Does anyone have any photos of a 7 layer cupcake poof monster from MLT under an AP dress?

>> No.10514300 [View]

>>10514298
You might have a better chance asking in the worn photos thread.

Is your concern that AP skirts have enough room for a petti that big? They tend to have the most fabric/fullest skirts of any sweet brands I have owned

This.

>> No.10514304 [View]

>>10514300
Thanks. And I am pretty sure they'll fit under all my stuff, I just wanna make sure its not an ugly amount of poof that just looks overstuffed before I drop $150 on it. I want to be right on that border between mega poof and overstuffed if you feel me.

>> No.10514305 [View]

>>10514304
Depends on AP of when? Because AP high waisted can support a lot of poor, but the lower waist dresses are A line and flatter. They look off with too much poof underneath. Baby needs those 7 layer pettis.

>> No.10514333 [View]

>>10514305
>Baby needs those 7 layer pettis

Most BABY I've owned is far more A line than AP other than AP tiered JSKs and holds way less poof than AP. AP is way more cupcake than A line generally

>> No.10514340 [View]

>>10514333
I have the opposite. I wear max 2 pettis with AP that needs a lot of poof, but every Baby dress I have needs 3+

If you're anywhere near the places folks are moving out of, go to the thrift stores and estate sales.
I picked up a solid maple wingback chair the other day that's normally 900 or so for literally 20 usd.
