I hate how many western people are shown in Kera nowadays because they generally look like crap. This one said to be entirely lolita. Next two seem more lolita/decora mix. There are some much worse outfits in the post, but those aren't lolita.

This one looked cute until I looked closer and noticed things like her petticoat peaking out trough after the lined part of her skirt. She's almost there if she's going for a decora X lolita outfit imho.

I saw this. It's a hot topic dress (she said). Someone told her politely it's not lolita and even with a petticoat it wouldn't fit the silhouette because it can't get the proper shape (she owned it too she said), but the girl in the picture kept making excuses about how she normally wears a petticoat but it wasn't practical at school or so, and how petticoatless lolita is a thing because many do it casually.

The bodice looks decently constructed overall. If she would have used better lace, better buttons/embellishments, better ribbons and a mute solid colored skirt fabric this could have had potential.

This advice, like her dress, can be way, way, way simpler. Beginners should really start with the simplest, plainest dress. Make sure the skirt has at least 3m in the hem or 3x her waist (whichever is bigger). Then add a line of lace at the hem and/or across the top of the bodice. Done. Just chose your prints and lace wisely, she can use her oh-so-excellent colour skills there.

Solves the issue of colour balance. Solves the issue of proportion. 3 metres as either a flared skirt or rectangle skirt is definitely the right shape, just need to get the right petti to match.

Any beginner starting out with overdesigned shit is pretty much asking for trouble, I have no sympathy for them. We wouldn't even know she can't make bows for squat if she didn't make so many of them.

It would be a good effort if she was open to learning, but that attitude where she loudly proclaims she has no skills, zero interest in learning, and will continue making ugly shit? Yeah, not much hope for this one, it even puts people off from giving her advice because apparently she won't understand it.
