Decent sized? Yes, Big? Kinda. Proper big? Nope.
A 30/32G is going to look like most people imagine a D to look like. Sure they're sizable titties that may cause clothes to fit a bit odd or sleeping on your stomach to be out of the question but they aren't massive things.

Maybe not in sex ed but it should be more widely spread, even lingerie shops/departments having pictures of a range of women wearing a fitting bra that says their size underneath and an explanation of how cup size and band size work in dressing rooms would help.

I still reckon 30G is a decent amount of boob for a thin person but it's definitely what the uninformed public would think of as a C or D. Especially as a lot of women don't know how band/cup size work and probably imagine their own band sizes G cup on the person's body.
