The problem is that a lot of the people that are being mentioned here do just that.

Someone posted what they thought Armin would look like when he got older and a lot of the responses were like pic related.

They're so adamant and insistent sometimes; it gets to the point where they're just plain rude and ass-gratingly obnoxious. I've seen people get angry at others for having headcannons that differ from theirs to the point where it spirals into a massive shitstorm.

To keep this more on topic, a friend of a friend of mine has this kind of attitude and it bugs the hell out of me. She always latches on to our group at cons and we CANNOT shake her off.

There's one guy in our circle of friends who is kind of interested in cosplay and toying with the notion of starting it, but he's kind of shy so he's still not sure. He's a total sweetheart despite the fact that he looks like a hulking metalhead (which he is). He also happens to be gay. This girl is absolutely freaking him out and I swear half the time I think she wants to bone him. She says she likes 'pretty boys' and keeps suggesting all these feminized costumes for him. Or if he expresses an interest in cosplaying a character, she suggests ways to feminize the costume. They don't match his looks at all, they're not the kind of thing he'd be comfortable with and most of them are fandoms he's never even heard of, but she's still trying to pressure him into doing them because she thinks he has "bishie potential". She's a crossplayer too and keeps dropping dark hints about doing fanservice pictures with him. When she's not doing that she's going "We need to find you a boy to kiss!"

tl;dr : this one cosplayer's wacky interpretation on homosexuality is grinding my gears and weirding a good friend of mine out
