I got one. Not embarrassing per se, but it was kind of akward.
>Going to convention dressed as Richard mask Jacket.
>Managed to get a few small speakers into my jacket to play hotline Miami music
>Mom sees my cosplay and assumes I'm going as a murderous mascot from a school.
>She doesn't really ask why, just confused.
>Also have tape recorder of Jacket lines from payday 2.
>Mother still questions why "I'm going as a furry Jason Vorhees."
I love my mother to death. I just wish she wouldn't call it that.

>Find friends there, a few don't know who I am cosplaying.
>Play voice lines over tape recorder.

>Two friends leave me alone with my other friends because they think I am a freak.

>MFW I get pulled aside by a cute Nidalee cosplayer, have her pull my mask off and yell back to her friend "See, I knew he was cute!"
