I agree. I don't understand when cosplay became such a sacred cow of safe space that no one is allowed to tell someone if something looks bad or even a polite CC will receive backlash from all of the special snowflakes. I don't know why you wouldn't want help improving on something if cosplay is something you want to keep doing. It's really shallow that some people want to just complement everyone for the sake of happy feelings rather than be honest for the better of the person.
