Just wanted to share an experience because I was extremely unsure about going through with it myself:

After dyeing my naturally blonde hair brown for five years (sometimes reddish brown!), I decided I wanted to attempt to remove the colour.
Social anxiety made me not want to go to a salon. I got colour B4.
I had already bought other semipermanent dye to cover up whatever colour B4 leaves behind. No need.
My hair looks EXACTLY like before I started dyeing it five years ago. I'm in shock. No visible damage either. It's a miracle.
