Holy fuck, I'm meeting my supervisor/boss for the first time tomorrow.

I actually had a bout of really bad flaking when my GP recommended retin-a. It's the exact wrong thing for my skin type, but when I went to a derm, she told me to try the same thing and wouldn't believe me when I told her how badly it fucked with my skin. She then when on to recommend basically every product my skin hates (except cetaphil).

Anyway. Don't take your derm's word as gospel.

On this note, can we talk about clip-on earrings? I've never had holes in ears. At this point, I'm scared to get and maintain them. The problem is, I've tried two pairs of clip-ons so far and they've always hurt. They weren't like a heavy hurting, but more of a "there's something clenching your ears" kind of hurt.

Are they supposed to do that? They're vintage, so maybe modern ones don't? Do any seagulls without ear holes have recommendations for clip-ons?

How long do you keep your average circle lenses?
I'm getting a natural pair for everyday but am I expected to throw them out every year? Half year? Are there lenses that last really long?
