I tie mine behind my ears, and bobbypin the ever loving shit out of the ribbons. I've thought about sewing a small comb or toupee clip to the underside of a couple of the heavier ones I have, though.

Grosgrain ribbons are easier to pin than the satin ones Bodyline uses.

Another suggestion, Metamorphose has little loops of extra ribbon on the underside of their headdresses and bows from around 2008 and earlier. I use those where I can for my bobby pins. Pic related is from one of their old, wired headbows.
