My only worry about backcombing is that because the braids are so heavy, I worry that they'll just weigh it down and flatten again. I really need to wash it out, and, for whatever reason, no matter how many time i style the bangs, they fall out. I think starting over and restyling them entirely will help.

Additionally, I've always been on the fence between keeping the bangs accurate or making them frame my face. I have a weak jawline, so wigs that frame my face are infinitely more flattering for me, but the pic included is from her official reference. How would I go about mixing the two?

Also, somewhat unrelated--It's really bizarre to see DR take off at conventions. I remember the first time my friends and I cosplayed DR was in January and literally 3 people recognized us the entire con. Now I can't go ten feet without seeing an Asahina or Naegi, it's really strange!
