Don't shave your brows! They look pretty damn nice as they are. Also you can now get eyebrow mascaras (some of the Korean and Japanese brands are particularly good) that will temporarily lighten their appearance with pretty decent results. I personally wouldn't bother with all the sticking and covering tutorials.

It's great that you've started experimenting with make-up, considering you're so new it's not a bad attempt (I think many people forget what their make-up applying skills were like in the very beginning). It does look quite 'beginner' like at this stage however, your eyeliner is a bit blobby and your lip-line doesn't quite follow the contour of your lips and isn't very neat. Practice makes perfect of course and you've made a good start, but I also think there's a lot of room for improvement. It's cool though, it's all a learning process.

I would suggest using a softer pencil eyeliner or possibly using eyeshadow with a damp brush to avoid hash looking lines. On the whole, softer makeup (even in cosplay) will create a more feminine look. Learn to soften and blend your eyeliner a little better and you'll be well on your way.
