...just kidding. I like to post this sometimes to remind myself that even though I've improved, I've still got a long way to go before I will feel especially proud of my coordination skills.

Thing is, I knew damn well that this wasn't lolita, I was just
1. poor as fuck and
2. excitable and wanting to go to my first meetup
So I was working with what I had at the time. If I could have a redo, I'd wait and save up some money for a decently sized taobao order (it's not as scary as it seems, past-self!) and show up a couple months later looking decently put-together.

Ugh ok, so this was about a year and a half ago, and I thought that no pictures existed of me in this, but then my friend took it upon herself to post it to my wall (where all my lolita friends could see) a few months ago. I knew damn well that this wasn't lolita, but I thought it looked loliable "enough" to hang out with real lolitas at a meet. Thankfully I didn't stay this way long.

Funny story about this picture - I planned the meet that it was taken at... and didn't show up. I couldn't find parking so me and the friend who took the picture wandered around a park for a while before going home. The girls who did show up were like "what's up with that new girl who didn't go to her own meet?"
