Everyone shits on RIT but I don't see the staff nor anyone on that anime board actively campaigning for a new venue.
RIT would not be bad if there were scheduled rehearsals of how thinks are going to work a couple days beforehand (cosplay contest, vendor lineups, AA lines) so that way the volunteers aren't losing their damn minds because they don't know what they're doing.
They can change the venue, but they're going to be taking their problems with them.

And I can tell just from their reactions to the criticism (that paying con-goers correctly had the right to) that nothing will change. Instead, they will hide behind their excuses and get unjustly upset at the people who are supporting them and giving them their money.
