There isn't any black in this coord - the print is actually navy on sax blue, not black on blue. Not saying it doesn't work with black, but I wouldn't have put brown with it if the print was black.

I wear lolita as my casual clothing, I don't see the point of paying so much for a dress and wearing it to meet-ups only. I don't HAVE to be "appropriate" for any situation other than work, day to day practicality, and formal occasions, so lolita is just as appropriate for the grocery store as it is for a meet-up.

Well for one, it's a bit misnamed since you've got a very sweet looking headbow and bag with a very classic looking dress.

Also, did you just decide that all reds match? The red of the bag, necklace and headbow is a very bright almost orangey red compared to the dress, socks and shoes, and I don't think that in this instance it works that well.

The style of the headbow, bag, and ring/necklace are also at total odds with the rest of the outfit as they're "red with white trim" rather than "red with white" i.e. the headbow has white lace trim whereas the dress has a block of red and a block of white.

I'd go with plain red smallish headbow OR flower corsage in the same velvet/red as the dress, a satchel bag in white or red (NOT both at once), faux-ruby ring/necklace/earring/bracelet set in gold, and shoes with a similar style but perhaps a slightly higher heel
